both sites work for me...
hacker fail...
Geo is a total tool...I'm sure he will have no problem committing perjury when it comes time to testify...
what they are CLEARLY referring to is "final" as in when its completed...or the final version...not alpha, beta, demo, whatever...
Now this is coming from a Mets fan, so i can be completely unbiased here because my team sucks...
Im not sure if its even possible for me to disagree with this article more...
You bring up some good points, but your ignore the most important of all facts
if rankings are to be based on previous year's performance than how do you account for the fact that rosters reflect THIS YEAR's rosters?
if the rosters were last yea...
oh i'd LOVE to know how people disagreed with me on the above comment lol
Personally i KNOW the game is better because i play both 2K and The Show every year...The Show has EASILY been the better game both in the gameplay and visual department this generation...hands down...anyone saying different is a pure hater...
there is a reason that The Show is the best selling baseball game even though its only available on the PS3 while 2k is available on both...
if you own a PS3, while there may actually be two choices for a baseball game....
Hopefully they do a complete comparison when the retail versions hit shelves...
This was an obvious result to anyone that pays attention to sports titles, but im still glad they did it...
The Show not only looks 100x's better, but plays 100x's better as well
Wait....people actually buy 2k baseball on the PS3???...
Technically your TV scaled EVERYTHING to its native resolution...so if you have a 1080p TV, everything you see on your TV is in 1080p...even SD TV channels are upscaled to 1080p by your TV...
the fact that you mention no AA in KZ3 shows how little you know what you're talking about...
oh i'd love to see how KZ3 and UC2 use "fake rendering." The fact that you called any of it "fake rendering" shows me you have ZERO clue as to what you're talking about lol...
baked on! haha!...KZ2 (not 3, 2) had levels with over 500 shadow casting light sources lol...Crysis 2? not so much...
as for deferred rendering...you realize that Crysis 2 uses DR as well right?...oops...fail...
as for draw distances...i hope they fixed them from the 360 demo...while the draw distance is impressive, it had TERRIBLE pop-in...huge draw distance is no good if the hardware can't load it all fast enough to avoid pop-in...i can also tell you ha...
White, can you even be further from the truth?? lol...how about you read up on MLAA and how it is implemented on the PS3 before you spout your anti-PS3 nonsense...
MLAA is not perfect, and it does have drawbacks...but you're portrayal of it is almost completely wrong...
remember what Digital Foundry had to say about MLAA when it first started to be dabbled with on the PS3 version of "Saboteur."
"The PS3 rendition of Pandemi...
I would hate to be the lawyer that had to represent this ass clown in court...
No...absolutely not...real-time and pre-rendered are not interchangeable...they are completely opposite in regards to video games...
If something has been pre-rendered that means it was rendered before...it is then displayed as a movie, and does not have to be rendered by the console's hardware in real time...
For instance...when you watch Toy Story on Blu-ray on a PS3...the movie was pre-rendered on some sort of insane hardware at Pixar...then played bac...
Anyone doubting KZ's lighting has obviously never seen this video about KZ2....
http://www.gamespot.com/ps3...
Show me a scene or level in Crysis2 (or any game for that matter) that contains 500 individual shadow casting light sources like KZ2 did back in February of 2009...
And the video I posted is actua...
Killzone most certainly does have dynamic lighting...
I'm also not sure why you use C2's almost perfect framerate as an argument against KZ3...when the beta of KZ3 has an actual perfect framerae with no tearing...did you forget to actually read the article??
To keep it simple for you...realtime means that the console is creating everything you see on the fly and displaying it on screen...
If something is not realtime, it would be referred to as pre-renderd, and then played back in essence like a movie...you would not be able to interact with it at all, because the console would not be doing the rendering in realtime...
Every video game you play is rendered in realtime...there is no other wayto do it...the onlypar...
Do you even know what "real-time" even means?...obviously not...
As for the guys comparing C2's HDR and knocking KZ's lighting...
You are correct in saying KZ does not use HDR...but the lighting is NOT canned...there are scenes in KZ2(not 3) that contained 500 individual dynamic, shadow casting light sources...in a single scene!!
I've had ZERO issues with accessing PlayStation.com, Sony.com, or playing games on the PSN since this all started...so it has not effected me in the least...
These guys are just tools...
