just like The Last Guardian...this is the definition of vaporware...im sure somewhere on a few PC's at Rockstar there is some code...or at least a res image of the great logo they created (still one of the best ive ever seen)
maybe even some concept art stashed away in a filing cabinet somewhere...
id like to say that this game will get made eventually because i think the concept is pretty cool...
but it doesn't shock me that ev...
do you really, truly, honestly believe TLG is a "big gun?"
come on..deep down everyone knew this...the game has been vaporware from the start, no different than a tech demo that they stamped a "coming soon" sticker on...
also, lets be frank here..there has been so little of this game shown for anyone to really be all that excited about...the trailer (was there more than one?) showed nothing about the story, nothing about gameplay...and just some above average visuals...
not surprised...
surely its kinect...if MS had not made the mistake of requiring Kinect for the console to function, they probably could have shipped a $399 sku
luckily, you can swap it out just like on the PS3 *Thumbs up
I think more than anything it establishes Sony as a company with real people running it.
Sony has always, up until maybe the second half of this current generation come across as a company where the execs live in some sort of palace on a hill somewhere in Japan and are completely out of touch with reality...
but watching these guys out on stage last night (and Cerny at the Feb. Reveal) you can just see how passionate they are about what they are doing, an...
Hard to use the "known" exclusives argument IMO...considering we knew NOTHIJG about the Xbone's lineup it was obvious that MS was going to show more games...Sony had already shown 4 AAA exclusives MS had shown us Forza.. And showed it again
i agree 110% that GT6 will be the better game...but using cockpit view is not a good way to go about showing it...consider how awful the cockpit view is on all the standard cars...
i do have to admit...if this actually happened it would just be icing on the cake for Sony...it would be the PERFECT way to start their E3 presser...
have you actually read any articles that actually explore the cloud gaming stuff??
like this one: http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
give it a read...doesn't paint a pretty picture for what MS is talking about...
the simple answer is marketing...its a strategic move, nothing more...it has us all talking about it
that is true, but their feelings are easily implied...after the PS4 launch all we read from developers and journalists was how Sony nailed it...the devs and journalists had nothing but overly positive things to say about the PS4...
now?...we don't hear a peep from barely ANY of them...not even MS first party devs are coming out talking about how powerful the system is, or how they had input in developing it and MS got things so right...i mean read some of the comments fro...
Where was MS when the gaming media was blasting the PS3??...
Pot, meet kettle
I find it even more hilarious that you want us to believe that roughly 6 months out from launch Sony has no hardware...
Uncharted, GoW, and Killzone series say "hi"
Ghosts is not even the best looking multiplatform game that has been shown..
@Fox
don't say IF...because anyone that has played online knows that it just simply DOES from time to time...so how does the console handle this?...
you didn't even make an attempt at addressing my questions..are those without internet second class gamers? should those that don't have access to good enough internet be treated to lesser quality games?...
no matter how you spin it...just about every step MS has taken with the Xbone ...
yeah...right...
offload "part of the frames" to the cloud? What happens when i get some network lag? does the frame rate drop? What if my internet is down? do i get a lower quality experience?...
Do the developers optimize their games for the cloud? what happens to those that don't have XBL Gold? or not internet at all?...even though they pay the same price for the console and games do they deserve to be treated like second class gamers with a g...
Believe it when I see it...there is no way this is going to work the way MS wants us to believe.
The devs can't use these resources unless they plan on having different experiences for those that have crap internet...and what happens to my games when I experience lag?
guess its a good thing i got online and got myself a "launch edition" from Amazon then huh?
