just wanted to point out...since Rikan can't respond anymore...
After i corrected his post...where he posted all those numbers that did nothing but prove my original point...
that he is now so upset that he has blocked me lol...
CG trailer much? article = fail
terribly inaccurate article title...nothing gets lost...
hey Rikan...are you an idiot? lol....
look at my post again, as well asyour numbers you fool...
i said the PS3 has outsold the 360 world wide since 2007...i DID NOT say the PS3 has sold MORE consoles worldwide...remember you brain wizard that the 360 was on the market for an entire year before the PS3 was released...
now lets look at your numbers posted...
~53million vs ~50million...the 360 was on the market 1 year before the...
my only concern with your comment is the part about the "annual runner up." Runner up to what? the Wii??...sure...but the PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide since 2007...so i hope you're not implying that the PS3 is the "runner up" to the 360...
so what are they gonna charge me for this? On top of the $60 i already pay for live...and my cable bill...
hmm...this sounds like a pass...i bought my 360 to play games...not watch TV which i get through my cable provider...
@dead_eye:
Yes pop culture...as in popular...which is what Top Gear is very much a part of...
how did Polyphony implement their Top Gear License?
1. The had 1 video showing the Stig driving a car out of the garage...
2. Had the track in the game
3. Had three of the absolute worst challenges in the entire game located on the Top Gear Track...
What could they have done?
1. Used the Top Gear trac...
This is where Polyphony Digital absolutely FAILED with their inclusion of Top Gear in Gran Turismo 5...don't get me wrong...i've played the crap out of both GT5 and FM3...and GT5 is IMO hands down the best racing sim available on consoles...
but Polyphony is just out of touch with what consumers want...and the inclusion of the Top Gear test track was a BRILLIANT opportunity for them to add some relevant pop culture to the game, and they really could have taken advanta...
and Killzone 3 is having ANOTHER double XP weekend as well...good times
can you try again in English please?
If i had my way it would be a straight port of the original game into the Halo Reach Engine...
do everything they can to re-design the maps/levels by upgrading textures, lighting, particle effects, animations you name it...but the layouts should remain the same...
oh...and the original weapons in Multiplayer please...if the gun wasn't in the original CE...i don't want it in my remake...at least in multiplayer...
Actually i dont think Frankie was there...i believe he signed on during the development of Halo 2
hey Hac...congrats on refuting all of your own arguments with your second post...lol...
I played the Beta...and found the game to be very Jekyll and Hyde...parts looked great...other parts looked very sub-par and lacking...Multiplayer vs Multiplayer its no KZ3...
this trailer gives me the exact same feeling...the obvious cutscene footage looks outstanding...however, it should...they are cutscenes...
some of the gameplay looked good...but some looked just ok...
No hating...the overall package is quite nice...but best on consoles?...
totally a production issue here...blame the manufacturing plant that handled the pressing and packaging of the game...
its not MS, Rockstar, or the stores' fault here...the blame lies completely with the plant where the discs were manufactured and packaged...
Count me in!
as far as i know...development went from exclusive to multiplat much earlier in the development cycle for LA Noire than it did for FF13
i would LOVE to know who gave me a disagree on the above post...would KILL for a PM to hear your reasoning for that one lol
the problem is that the 360 supports upscaling to 1080p on all games...LA Noire is NOT native 1080p on the 360...its upscaled...
unfortunately because of the ability to upscale, it allows MS to be a little deceiving and list 1080p as a resolution on the box...the PS3 handles this differently and just switches its output resolution to match the game...
LoT really should clarify this in their reviews...they should always list native resolutions instead of what ...
you didn't lose anything...it can be retrieved through account management
