Anyone who is interested in the new game and not COD4Re (IDK who would be), don't pre-order the game and wait til launch day. You will see a lot of used copies in stores on day 1. People will be in line to buy the deluxe version, gutting it right there on the counter, taking the COD4 code, and trading in the other game towards the purchase.
I haven't seen anyone excited for the new game at all. Unless the person doesn't know that it has become a Halo rip-off. The cover even has a Pelican drop ship on it for f sake.
Their track record for Nintendo's last few console generations tells me to take the under.
Plus, who cares about EA these days with their glitch fest, day 1 patch, season pass cash grabbing, piece of garbage cookie cutter games? I don't even play most of their crap anyway.

All I am hearing is bitching and whining from a bunch of poor people that are mad that they can't afford one. Guess what, tech gets better all the time and upgrading comes with the territory.
If you don't want to upgrade, you don't have to. You can still play everything that people with the PS4K can play. It just might run a little smoother and output in 4k for UHD blu-rays. (I.e. and iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6).
Console only gamers are the only ones that would except 30FPS gaming or lower.
Only because they don't know any better and rarely see a good performing game so they don't know what their games COULD look like.
I just recently showed one of my friends who only owns a ps4 what Far Cry 4 looks like on my PC. he had no idea games could look that good and be so smooth. He is, as of yesterday, using me to build him a PC.

If a game has to drop to 900p (you can't tell the difference from 1080p anyway) to achieve 60fps, I would take it over 1080p 30fps any day.
That's why I play everything on my PC except for console exclusives. And I skip a lot of those too because they run at 30fps. I can't stand it anymore since I've started gaming heavily on PC.

Listen, if the PS4K actually exists, it won't have exclusive games. It's still a PS4. It will play PS4 games. They'll just have the option to play them in upscaled 4k and the option to turn the framerate to 60fps.
Nobody is being left in the dust. It's just like getting a new ipad or iphone. Slightly better performance but they play the same stuff.

Halo 5 does not play like Halo at all.
Halo should have ended once Bungie stopped making it. This is coming from a life long Halo fan who has been following the series since the first gameplay was shown at Mac World in 1999.

Early VR, motion controls, and 3dtvs were all small parts to a much bigger concept. Which is why they all failed on there own.
When you put them together to create a bigger picture (modern VR), it brings them all to their highest potential, and ultimately makes them all succeed.
You just know they will release a patch once the PS4k comes out. Sony will use this game as a show piece for it. Better AA and 60FPS here we come!
