It's not pretty. Outside of IGN and a couple of Nintendo sites, there's mostly 7's and 6's.
EDGE is known for scoring games a couple of points lower than others, so it's probably a 6 by every other sites standards, which is about right, considering the game is average, run of the mill, trash.

Believe it or not, Kingdom Hearts wasn't a casual title, it was actually a very respectable Action RPG, and definitely aimed at the core market, even with the Disney characters.
