Hmmm... There's criticisms, then there are outright lies, and misrepresentation.
He's paid to do a job, that requires him to give an accurate, correct information. He can state his opinion, as long as he elaborates on it.
He didn't do that. He lied, realized that a damn lot of people saw the BS he wrote, went back, changed it without an update of any sort, in an attempt to make it seem like he did nothing wrong.

It's not Timed Exclusive, there's a month or two delay because of SE having issues with Unreal Engine and the PS3. They've never made use of it on the console before, as opposed to their experience with 360 and the engine.
It should be around in roughly 2~3 months at most.
Just this afternoon, I've played around 10~12 levels that are based around characters, or elements from what would be copyrighted material.
Either, these "Numerous repost" are actually false, in an attempt to defame the title, or they've been seriously exaggerated.
I still have quite a few of the Music ones, which I would also assume are copyright, as well as fair few "homage" levels hearted from the first day I purchased LBP.

I said, Gears of War 2 has a Meta rating of 92, according to the reviews collected by N4G. The two point difference is really unimportant however.
My actual point, is that some people obviously don't think GeoW2 is AAA material, as evidenced by a number of 8~8.9 scores.

Gears of War 2 only has an average of 9.2 on MetaCritic right now, which isn't -that- much higher than this 8.8. So it's hardly a stretch to imagine that some people don't think it's an AAA game.
Well, LBP is still not available in one of the biggest markets for the PS3, Europe.
Fable 2 however, is available everywhere... Maybe you should be careful before shoving your foot in your mouth.

Thousands of letters? I'm sorry, but I've read of two different people making complaints so far.
Do you have any proof, at all, that thousands of these letters were sent? Usually, when such a thing occurs, the Media is -all- over the sh1t storm it causes, but in this case, outside of the delay, and Sony announcing as such, nothing.

I think there's been a lot of tension between Kitase and Sakaguchi in the past. There used to be a time that Sakaguchi took a lot of credit for FF7, when in the words of Kitase, it was more down to himself, and another member of SS
They felt that Sakaguchi was taking FF7 in a bad direction, so they helped rewrite the story, and we ended up with FF7 as it is today

But the things he stated weren't in the BETA, are in actual fact there. I'm sorry, but I fail to see how you can even begin to defend him?
He's obviously either... A) Not played the BETA enough to get a fair view of the game, or B) Intentionally put that tidbit in the article in an effort to downplay the title.
