It's a hardly surprising thing that Cnet, something that is very close to Microsoft, is essentially saying "Carry on using MS products!"
Firefox, and to a lesser extent, Chrome, are pretty much the de facto browsers for the time being.
They say they didn't go for a Beyonce level of hotness, when Angelina is a lot better looking than Beyonce.
Yes, it sucked. Sucked enough that millions of people enjoyed it, and plenty still do to this day.
So, because the graphics suck now, it somehow impacts how the game was at the time? That makes no sense.
FF7 was one of the best games. At the time. Technically, it may not hold up well, but game play and story wise? More than most.
There's a reason that so many people want to see it remade at a technical level similar to today's games, and it's not down to...
If he hadn't tried to turn it into something it's not, he'd have enjoyed it more.
The reviewer seems to understand it's not designed as typical game, with a focus on challenge and points etc, but then seems to try and force the game into that mind set.
If he'd have simply "played" the game for what it was, rather than chasing trophies, and hoping for "points" and a scoreboard, it would of had much more of an impact.
Arcade/PSN =/= Full retail releases.
A 9 for a $5 downloadable title, isn't the same as a 9 for a $60 title.
Simply put, they're reviewed by different standards.
Go to Japan, and call a native a "Jap"
Depending on whether you're in in a City, or the Countryside, you may very well never be seen again.
It -is- a derogatory term. It still is. Just because it's used quite frequently by a lot of internet goers doesn't change that.
I can't understand why people don't just type jp or JP instead. It even saves you one whole letter.
Well, while I agree that's how it should be, it just so happens that this, according to the reviews so far, seems to lack a good story.
Which isn't a surprise. But still, the battle system is supposed to be good. I'm personally expecting this to ship on the PS3 within the year.
Depending on more reviews, will have to see if it's worth the time to invest in it.
You call only bothering to give 3 year warranties after pretty much being threatened with a lawsuit, which would have resulted in a recall, customer service? You're misguided if you believe that to be good Customer Service.
I don't see offering a replacement for defective consoles "dealing" with the problem. To this day, the 360 still suffers from a high rate of failure, and it's -still- not fixed. The simple fact, it's "brushed off" like nothing is wrong is s...
Isn't it obvious why PS3 fans are louder than the rest? It's pretty simple.
No other group of fans has ever undergone as much scrutiny, and the extreme desire for their console of choice to fail, by not only every single other fanboy, but a VAST majority of the American media.
In comparison, the 360 is lavished with praise, raised to an almighty level, and it's flaws ignored [Reliability, very few exclusives titles worth mentioning, P2P online etc]
I ju...
Really... They're the exact same trailer, the silliest part of what you're saying? The simple fact, that as of now, there's not one bit of 360 footage, because they haven't even started development on the 360 port.
Are you really, that much of an annoying lying fanboy?
I would of bought it, if it had come out on PSP, with a bit more work done on the actual remake part.
High rez sprites wouldn't have been too difficult to do, and judging from FF1&2 remake for PSP, they could have pulled them off well.
But ehh, releasing an almost straight port, 14 years later, for a £100 handheld is a bit... meh.
The reason you'll lose bubbles, and get disagrees, is you're stating your opinion as fact. It's not "The truth" as you call it.
Anyone with a pair of eyes can see quite clearly, that this Killzone 2 is the definitive in console graphics at this point in time.
VC is RTS? :| Since when?
VC is a TRPG.
It means across all formats, this is how they sold.
I.e, with all formats put together on one chart, Wii Fit sold the most.
The specific platform charts are to determine which is the best selling game, multi platform or otherwise, on that particular platform
For $556 he went through all that effort? O_o
He probably spent more than that in phone bills and travel costs. Honestly, why not just block it?
Nintendo is likely to be very comfortable. They sell every single Wii at a very substantial profit, so it's extremely unlikely for them to post anything but a profit.
It's a shame really, as the companies that are actually trying to make some form of progress within gaming lose money by the bucket load... Can only hope somehow they recover and make it through this terrible downturn.
I'd say yes. I've owned it for around 3 months now, and still play it now. It's fighting system is incredibly fun when playing with friends.
It's a shame there is no online, but perhaps it will be included in an update one day [Doubtful] none the less, it's worth $50 in my opinion.
Dead Rising and Lost Planet sold 200k in their first week in the US.
Metal Gear Solid 4 sold 500k in it's first week, in the US.
Your "Facts" are... strange.
People saying there's no different need to read the article.
There is a difference, and it's evidenced in the different levels of trophies.
Someone who has a lot of Bronze trophies has most likely earned them just playing the game, someone who has earned a lot of Platinum obviously is able to achieve the harder game goals, so it shows a higher level of skill.
It may be the fault of the user for lacking proper security of their computers, however, if Microsoft can stand by a product that is extremely vulnerable then why on earth, should anyone stand up for them?
IE is one of the most vulnerable software programs around, and anyone who uses it, risks the safety of the computer every time they use it.
The reason the EU is being so hard nosed about this, is that it's -clearly- evident that a lot of end users don't -know- that...
