If Fallout 3 Broken Steel comes out this week, I'll be happy.
They've been at the bottom of the hill for over a year. They just continue to fester.
PS3 gets upgraded, bloggers bash it into oblivion, blogs get approved at N4G.
Rinse, repeat.
Disappointing if the final product ends up as messy as these guys claim it is. No excuses this late in the game. Make it 360 exclusive if you can't program properly on the PS3, do not want bad ports.
Edit @ Kain81: Thought I read that somewhere, 60 FPS locks on both. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
There was some speculation on the PS boards that they're going to be skinned or otherwise colored with premium avatars. Makes sense.
As it is now, though. Pug fugly.
It's worth it to have one in every region. From the Japanese store I've got this theme, Mainichi Issho (and its trophies), the demo for Katamari Forever, and several other past demos early. Plus, you can go to Japanese version of Home.
Now THIS chaps my ass. I've wanted an Okami sequel since I finished the first one, but not like this. Not only will it not be created by the same team thanks to Capcom shutting them down shortly after launch, but it's also going to be on the DS. Guess I'll never be getting a true Okami sequel.
I'd want an Ico/SotC pack. I've got SotC, but I've never played Ico cause it comes on those blue discs that don't play right in my PS2 or PS3. Make the consoles get super loud.
Those were my exact words when I heard his music was gonna be in this game. It goes against everything he wanted when he was alive, and directly contradicts his suicide note. May as well go ahead and read his published diary in between songs.
Activision is just skyrocketing up my sh*t list this year. Seems like every week they do something new to make me hate them.
It's like clockwork with you, so predictable. I don't think I've seen a single article in the past few days that doesn't have a comment from you. You probably spend more time here than Bloodmask, which speaks volumes for how interesting your life must be.
Yeah, originally they had claimed there would be no DLC for this. Don't you just love it when Microsoft get their greasy grip around something?
Oh man, trophy support didn't even cross my mind when I read the rumor about this coming. Gonna pick this up for sure, even though I still own GoW 1 and 2.
I couldn't possibly care less about cross-game chat, but I still think it's long overdue.
Tonight? Figured it'd be Tuesday night.
My already minuscule interest level just plummeted to zero.
Ah ok, didn't know how they did things with XI.
I have a strong feeling this game is gonna crash and burn on PS3, and 360 as well if they get it, especially if it has a subscription model. Maybe PC too, depending on the XI audience's willingness to jump ship. Of course if all platforms play inside the same universe with each other, I take it all back. That's what they really need to do.
Personally, I'm not gonna even bother if it's subscription-based.
That's gotta be a hard pill to swallow if it has a subscription model. You'll be paying 2 subscriptions to play it on the 360.
I think Resistance 2 has severely underrated water effects. The game as a whole is nothing special graphically, but the first time I started playing around with the water in the beta, I was very impressed. It actually moves around when you interact with it, it doesn't just throw up some 2D splash frames.
As far as this list goes, it fails because Uncharted isn't 2nd, and BioShock isn't 3rd. Uncharted won an award for water effects if I remember correctly.
Your post look familiar. Where have I seen it before... hmmm...
I've been using IGN for over a decade, and they've typically been the only site I trust reviews from, but this is just laughable. PS3 is a better console than all the others listed in this segment of the top 25.
I swear if they rank the 360 or Wii higher than the PS1/PS2 or SNES, I'm washing my hands of their site.
