Ugh, I hate it when I see some new awesome user-made design for the XMB at the official forums, cause I know it's never gonna see the light of day on the console. Every couple months someone whips up something incredible, and it leads nowhere. It's really annoying. All these great concepts squandered in favor of... whatever the hell Sony does when they're not working towards these awesome designs.

Exactly. I've gotten 2 of these stupid things from people on my buddy list this morning. Gonna start deleting people who send me this crap. There's a real reason to rage against Activision over MW2, and this is absolutely not it.

Yeah, the only thing keeping me from a platinum trophy is the broken multiplayer.
I don't have an issue with the dynamic theme price, but I am pissed about the lack of avatars. If you're gonna throw in a new feature with the firmware, it might be a nice idea to actually support it when it launches.
I'm just glad I'm not under SCEE. They didn't get a single dynamic theme, not even the LBP one all other regions got when the FM launched. My sympathies to those in Europe stuck with the ass end of Sony support.

That's pretty much the cornerstone of my distaste for Microsoft. They choose to go guns blazing with marketing to cover the half-assed work they did creating their products. They may not offer the best warez, but dammit, they'll sure tell you they do until you can't even remember the name of their competition's product.
