That's pretty lame. It's not like SEGA nefariously stole it from them so they could port it. They threw it to SEGA cause they didn't have the time/resources/skill to develop for the PS3. I was a pretty big fan of Hideki because of his previous works, but I'm really disappointed with him and his team for all of this mess with Bayonetta.
Wasn't Grid supposed to be a sim too? Certainly had the controls of one in the demo I played.
I'm an arcade racing fan myself, so I'd rather play Burnout or Motorstorm over Forza and Gran Turismo any day of the week, but these people at Microsoft and Turn 10 have gotta stop with these flat out lies. It's just too pathetic. They're acting like the bottom rung of forum troll.

It's not the amount of money that matters, it's the principal. I don't even live in a region where Activision is hiking the price, but I'm absolutely disgusted that they're doing this. It sets a horrible precedent for a rise in game prices.

Dunno about you, but when I was a kid I didn't play "kids games". I played everything the NES/Genesis/SNES/Arcades had to offer. Parents sat me down for the "you know the difference between games and reality, right?", and I was off and running, playing whatever the hell I wanted. It's pure greed, nothing more, and it's the reason why I'm buying any and all Activision games used from now on.
Well I haven't checked in over a year, but last time I looked the PS2 copies were hovering around $100 on eBay.
It's one of the best and most popular 2D fighters ever made, and a physical copy can run you into the hundreds.

This isn't about Apple, but for the record, everything they sell is overpriced. That's a universal complaint about Apple I've heard and agreed with for many years, so I don't see where you get the idea that no one ever criticizes them for their prices.
If/when it does RRoD, do they send back the same MW2 unit? Thinking about buying one of these. If there was ever a 360 to get, this one would certainly be it. Better value than any other SKU they've released.
Agreed with coolfool. Tired of this misconception around here that anything that doesn't put Sony on a holy pedestal is nothing but biased Sony hate. They're not infallible.
Most people have been saying this thing is about $50 too expensive since it was announced. I mean come on, it's $50 less than a PS3/360 Elite, and $50 more than a 360 Arcade/Wii. There's something fundamentally wrong with that.

You're gonna have to help me find the part of my post where I said I'm gonna play my friend's copy before him. I also fail to understand how playing games with friends in person is freeloading. You must live a very lonely life if that's how you view human interactivity while gaming.
My busted PS3 was a $150 Sony-issued refurb in the first place, opened it up and found a mess inside, even missing screws. Not going through them ever again. Don't have $300 laying around to buy a Slim either, nor do I really want to at the moment. Kinda turned off to gaming right now because of this, while simultaneously craving Uncharted 2.
I'll probably just play it at a friend's house.
I've been waiting for this game all year, #1 on my list of anticipated titles, and my f*ckin PS3 breaks 2 weeks before launch. Had to cancel my pre-order and everything. Can't even describe how angry I am over this.
I don't even have a functional PS3 right now but I'll be there.
