After the GTAIV DLC, I don't trust anything but 1st party exclusivity. Out of everything 3rd party out there, I thought that would NEVER leave the 360. Microsoft mince words constantly, but that's the only time I remember them saying it was 100% impossible for the PS3 to get something they had.
I think it's only a matter of time before Mass Effect hits the PS3. Possibly in some bundle that comes with 1 and 2. Both on one BR would be pretty sweet.
Do want. They're not releasing it in the US, right?
Extremely impressed with how remarkably well it holds up with that many people there messing around. Really cool vid.
That whole bald chick thing normally doesn't do it for me, but Subject Zero is hot. Crazy chicks are always the best in the sack.
Heh, trying to make it seem like people actually know who the hell he is by calling himself the number one MAG hater. Very HHG-esque.
I've seen a ton of Mass Effect 2 commercials. They've been running all month. The GameStop one with the toilet and the series of ads with each character. Seen them probably hundreds of times by now. Huge ad campaign.
There have actually been numerous articles since November about how surprisingly horrible it sold. Not only playing sales, but playing imaginary high sales. Brilliant.
They use way too many bawlsuckas from Kotaku on Bonus Round. That dude and Crescente have been on so many times. Freakin' Pachter too. BR is so fail.
EpicBattleCry is the best podcast at GT, by miles.
The first Lost Planet was crap... really crappy crap. So crappy, that I was amazed it had been greenlit for a sequel. LP2 demo was fun though, and I like Gears. Kind of a weird tie-in, but whatever. It's not as fail as Soul Calibur and Star Wars.
This game is so awesome. Gotta get the retail pack. Is it still Europe-only?
Fallout 3 is my fav this gen. Dumped over 400 hours into it across several saves, without even touching the DLC.
@1.2 - What's that off in the distance? Oh, it's my post, flying right over your head.
For the sarcastically challenged, I was referring to Microsoft's ability to charge you again for a game you already own as "innovation, Microsoft style".
So you're saying they meant it would take 30 hours to get all the emblems? Cause that's ridiculous. Even after my 12+ playthroughs, I didn't get all the emblems. They said it would take 30 hours to play through the game, not anything about emblems.
@1.24 - They never said anything about getting all emblems in MGS4. They said it would take 30 hours to playthrough, and I did plenty of exploring. Beat that damn game a dozen times, got it down to 3 and a half hours on normal towards the end without cut scenes. Also, the only stuff I used a guide for in GTAIV was the flying rats and jumps. Everything else I found on my own. 100% REQUIRES you to explore outside the main quest.
To all the other skeptics thinking it's impossib...
Yeah, that too. The captain making a brief cameo again would rock my socks. F*cking LOL'd when the Barbarian King summoned him to be killed again in GoW2.
It better be in the game. The Kratos threesome is a staple of the series.
Innovation, Microsoft style.
GoW1 and 2 each took me 8 - 9 hours on the first playthroughs. I NEVER listen to devs when they give a time range. It's usually way off, and seems like it was aimed at nubs.
GTAIV was said to last 100 hours. I 100%'d it in 44.
MGS4 was said to last 30 hours. Took me 18 without skipping cutscenes.
Pretty cool. The graphics are better than I expected. I got into the beta, but my PS3 crapped out the day after I finally got through all that Massive Action Patching, so I never got a chance to try it out.
Agree with Brett Molina's list the most, though I'd replace Portal with Half-Life 2.
