SixAxis was best utilized when programmed to do something in a single shake or swing, like resetting your camo in MGS4 by flicking it up. Forcing someone to play a game that revolves around using it has proven fail. The only exceptions are Flower and High Velocity Bowling.
Get out... and take your wagglestick with you. HATE this trend.
I haven't bought a PC game at retail since Diablo 2: LoD. About 10 years ago. I think the vast majority of PC gamers get their games from outlets like Steam. Then of course there's piracy.
Hope it comes out this fall. Loved the first Dead Space. Best thing to come outta the horror genre in years.
I guess that's where all the Kool Aid went...
EyeToy: "Meh"
Wii: "Meh"
SixAxis: "Meh"
PS Eye: "Meh"
PS Wand: "Meh"
Natal: "MOTION IS THE F*CKING FUTURE!!!"
Well I guess prices aren't changing this year then. Maybe 2011.
I only played this locally with friends too, which was really fun. I think I tried to go online once and no one else was playing it.
Dude... it's Silogon spelled backwards. If any of you were here while Silogon was crapping all over the place, you'd know he's not worth responding to. Just laugh and move on. Eventually he'll crawl back into his hole for a few months before making another account.
...and look who jumped to approve it first, so predictable. Get really tired of this crap sometimes.
The format wars lingered for too long, so BluRay adoption is happening later than it should have, meaning it would be harder to push a new format out to the public so soon. I remember my friend was in a focus group for BluRay in 2001, just to give you an idea of how damn long it's really been around for.
Supposedly BluRay is also capable of being layered to 1TB, so I really don't see any reason why we'd need a new format in the PS4. It's not like there's a whole lot of compress...
Super Mario World, GTA: Vice City, or Fallout 3.

Ditto, stopped reading at "2. Halo Reach". Implies that the only game with graphics better than Halo Reach is GT5, which in turn implies that whoever wrote this has his head too far up his own ass to have seen enough game footage to make a proper list.
I wouldn't even say Reach is the best looking 360 game of 2010. From the footage shown, Alan Wake looks better than Reach.
I'm really kind of indifferent to this whole 3D thing. I probably wouldn't even use it if it was optional in my games.
Motion gimmicks... 3D gimmicks... *yawn*
The only real problem for the whole "future proof 360" notion is that it uses DVD. A handful of devs have already been pretty vocal on this issue, Rockstar probably being the most notable among them. Aside from that, I don't see any particular reason why the 360 couldn't last another few years. Graphically, I think we're at a pretty comfortable spot for now.
I'm pretty tired of FPS. I've played hundreds of them over the years, starting with Wolfenstein 3D. The only one I'm really looking forward to right now is BioShock 2.
It's my favorite genre, so I love it. Keep 'em coming.
The most popular is rarely the best, in all walks of life. Funny how that works out.
Exclusive games and exclusive DLC are completely different things. All or nothing. You get the full game on one platform, period. With exclusive DLC you get the full game on one platform, and part of the game on another. Pretty basic, really.
I'm against exclusive DLC on all platforms. Fans of the game can't get the full experience just because they don't happen to own console X.
List is megafail. Includes 2 games that haven't even been confirmed to exist, and places several others with limited/no footage shown. Also, assuming Dead Space 2 is as gory as Dead Space 1, lol @ it being #10.
