There really wasn't much of any hype, which I've been kinda surprised about. The first game is a classic. You'd think the sequel would be getting more attention than it has been.
My list:
1. Fallout 3
2. - 10. Everything else
Look, MGS is one of my favorite franchises of all time, but lets be real about it, MGS4 had about 10 hours of cutscenes. The epilogue/ending alone equaled about an hour of solid cutscene. My first playthrough, not skipping anything, was 18 hours. My 2nd playthrough, skipping all the cutscenes, was around 6 - 7.
I'd say MGS4 was a 60/40 cutscene/gameplay split, and that might be generous.
I think it was said that you need a dev kit to make dynamic themes.
They can be confident all they want. The game did review pretty well so it obviously has something going for it. Unfortunately, rather than being confident in their product, they turned to bashing Polyphony and their game. Talk about your own game rather than needlessly smearing others. It just makes you look foolish and insecure about what you've created.
Turn 10 never should have started all that trash talk in the first place. They were even caught trolling GT5 on NeoGAF. I didn't care one way or the other about Forza until they started all their bullsh*t, and that just made me look at it negatively.
I still wanna play it, reviews be damned!
I put over 400 hours into Fallout 3 on the PS3. Lotta crashes, but every version of that game has issues ( http://fallout.wikia.com/wi... ). I never got around to playing the DLC thanks to my PS3 YLODing 5 days before the packs were released, but I heard the retail release of the GOTY edition it completely broken, and the downloads are fairly f*cked as well. Particularly the end of Broken Steel, and most of Point...
Hawt!
Mad? End of the world? Simply pointing out that you're a dirty little weasel, stealing things for your site from other submissions you actively try to squash.
That's low. E4G reports the user who originally posted this vid cause he directly linked to YouTube, then swoops up the video to post on his site, adds a sentence, and resubmits.
I want one. I also want big posters of the advertisements around Rapture.
Didn't Epic say the next Gears won't come out in this console generation? GTAV might be announced, but as long as Rockstar's "A team" is supposedly dedicated to Agent, I don't see it coming out anytime soon.
Also, I kinda scratched my head at this: "The second instalment, Pacific Rift was more of the same (just a little bit worse) when released in 2008."
PR fixed everything that was wrong with the first Motorstorm. Ass-backwards to a T.
I prefer it the way it is now. What's gonna happen to Personas under this new design?
On the whole "Chrome vs. FireFox" thing, FireFox's add-on support is way too massive and useful for me to ever drop it.
I remember either Kitase or Nomura said they would like The Last Guy to have the SquareEnix building added as an evacuation point so they could just let Yoichi Wada die.
Heavenly Sword. Bashed for being short, but the game is ace.
Should be the year Yoichi Wada disappears.
Why can't you play this online on the 360?
Heh, Molyneux... deliver...
"However, we need to point something funny out! Look at the Spam comment. "No Contests", because they're site is broke and doesn't do giveaways. Hi Hater!"
...or because contests just aren't allowed?
Need to point something funny out as well. You run a site with articles about gaming, no doubt considering yourself something of a journalist, but you don't know the difference between "their" and "they're".
