Spurg said Dark Souls is the game of last gen. Bloodborne is current gen. Regardless, Dark Souls is the better game. But Bloodborne is also great.

It’s not all that well defined what makes a console generation. I see it as a combination of power and time of release, but there are sometimes other factors. I personally see the Switch as an 8th gen console just like Wii U even though it was released 4.5 years later, mainly because of the small leap in power.
