Well it's obvious you're not a gamer since you don't want to play exclusives only because they're on a Sony system, pretty sad on your part but oh well your loss.
See the direction Nintendo is taking gaming? Look at this, soon hardcore games will cease to exist because they will not sell and the hardcore gamer will be stomped out by the much larger casual market.
sales =/= good game, if you guys wanna play sales, lets bring in the Wii which has "games" that destroy your precious Halo 3 and Gears of War in the sales dept, xbox owners have no right to play sales because they are getting destroyed just like Sony by Nintendo.
Mass Effect franchise is NOT exclusive, if the same game is available on more than 1 platform, it's NOT exclusive. I don't buy the console exclusive crap either, when you talk about gaming, PC has to be counted in EVERY TIME.

In the first 3 months of this year we got, SF4, KZ2, FEAR 2, RE5, Madworld and MLB the show, I wouldn't call that a dryspell in games. The first 3 months of this year have been better than most that I can think of
The games division yes because of PS2 and PSP but the PS3 is still losing them money per console sold.
It's exclusive library is pretty vast IMO. Resistance 1/2, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm 1/2, Ratchet and Clank Future:TOD, GT5 Prologue, LBP, MGS4, Killzone 2, Uncharted, Lair, Haze, MLB the show, NBA, Valkyrie Chronicles, Folklore. Pretty much at least 1 game in every genre, with plenty more 1st/2nd party exclusives on the way this year and next.
Sony will start generating a profit at the current price point most likely by summer when production costs have dropped yet again, so I dont see a reason they should cut the price until the holidays.

5th consecutive week now, I think this is a foreshadowing of what's to come when FF13 comes out for PS3, heck any good square RPG for PS3. It could give it a permanent hardware boost over the Wii. Games like RE5 and Yakuza have pushed the PS3 past the Wii for 5 weeks so something like FF13 and FFV13 will put it over the top for at least 2 months
Worse part is that this is pre-price drop, can't wait to see this weeks numbers
This opinion I can actually accept legitimately because it's from the CEO of arguably the most high tech developer out there and if they say it can't be done yet, it most probably can't be.
Call of Duty 4 at number 14, the only thing that will kill that game is when MW2 comes out.
Civilian attacks and attacks on military bases are 2 different things. I agree there should eventually be a game based on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq but not on this. They had a game based on the Kennedy Assassination which was eventually pulled, same rule should apply here.
