the AA depends on resolution/size of the screen, at 1920x1080 on a 40 inch screen 4x AA is more than enough, at 8x and beyond you can't tell a difference unless you're sitting right in front of the screen but I agree with the rest of your post, I am getting this game on PC.
I disagree with GTA4, it was good but not the way all these review sites were throwing 10's around

I have a high end PC and PS3, all the games I'd want to play are available on both those platforms.

Nothing wrong with that if the game is 40+ hrs (bioware rpg, chances are high), in comparison 103 min of cut scenes is nothing
I thought the story had a nice little twist towards the end but once it gets to that it is a typical humanity vs alien thing all over again. I loved the game for the sandbox gameplay and all the different tools and ways you can approach a situation, the story definitely won't win any awards.
usually it's because consoles have dumbed down the game and developers haven't rescaled/coded the assets properly but a PC game looking bad doesn't happen very frequently.
Crysis Wars didn't look much worse than Crysis or Warhead on PC. The fact is they're making a sequel to a game that can only be maxed out on current hardware with 5 year old hardware...this is the end result. PC version will be the only version to get.

recommended req's seem to be moving up although minimum for games lately have been a joke. Hopefully the game is worth playing
ok, small screenshots prove nothing. Performance wise 60fps+ on PC vs consoles 30, resolutions up to 2500x1660 vs 720p native? Bioware game as well so you know PC will have improved textures/lighting etc so this "comparison" is dumb.
