you can have no lag compensation if you set your connection preferences to best so you're only in matches with people who have internet connections similar to yours. goto join match and then hit square (PS3) and your connection preferences will show up, switch to best and try that out. Worked like a charm for me!
PC version will still be the best looking version and best playable version, however don't expect a demo.
couldn't agree with you more, I'm a bit skeptical about this co-op thing but hopeful for the best since this isn't capcom developing the game.

I liked Haytham Kenway more than Connor, which is a problem because you play as Haytham for only a few hours. He had way more personality and charm

I doubt Wii U will be a 1080p system, it's only slightly more powerful than the 360/PS3
I wouldn't be surprised if they have that option next gen, consoles are slowly becoming PC's
I can run every PC game at 1080p with an i7 930 gtx 460 1gb and 8 gb of RAM. Most of those parts should be inexpensive by the time new consoles are made. I'd be very disappointed if 1080p/30fps wasnt a standard for next gen
Lol the guy in this article is not very informed. Neither one of the games he mentions is actually native 1080p, ninja gaiden sigma is 720p upscaled, MGS4 is 1024x728 upscaled and Wipeout although the closest to native 1080p is not as the above poster mentioned. The resolution varies. I believe the only native 1080 console game is Virtua Tennis?

Actually I've had no problems with this game, everything has been pretty seamless, Bioware did a good job for a MMO launch. The only thing that's been somewhat disappointing are the server queues up to 15 min for me during peak hours
my take on the combat is that it's pretty real time if you stand there and do nothing you will be killed by enemies, they don't wait a turn for you to attack. I think if you're a star wars or sci fi fan you wil enjoy the game for what it is and like the person above stated it's free for 30 days so there's no harm in trying it out.

It's a PC exclusive I'm not surprised. I'm playing this on my i7 930 with a gtx 460 and 8 gb of ram everything maxed out except SSAO and Uber sampling turned off. Getting about 40fps with the 270.61 drivers and I hear the performance is better with the 275 betas
