It's cryengine 3 not 2, I stopped reading the review pretty much there

seems like the typical 12 year old CoD run and gunner is playing this game, that's basically what they've turned crysis into now. Try this methodology in the original Crysis and you will be dead fairly quick.

I think even if the multi-player final product doesn't wow it will still sell on name brand of the game and company (Crytek)

gotta be crysis 2 it's a sequel to a highly publicized and critically acclaimed shooter.

I'm sorry but there's only so much you can do with almost 6 year old hardware, this is not future proof, this is basically developers milking consoles and not moving foward with pc tech which is already generations ahead in terms of hardware.

i think the game is OK which is sub standard for bioware. They really f'ed up on the DX11 performance on PC and still haven't fixed it, especially for nvidia cards...

hmmm how accurate are these numbers? I get much better than 31 fps avg on hardcore at 1080p with my evga SC gtx 460 but I do have an i7 930 @ 3ghz, would the processor make that much difference?

I 100% agree with you.

you mean Crytek = fail, they obviously pared down the engine from CryEngine 2

Crysis/Warhead >>>>> Crysis 2 graphically

same here i have a gtx 460, running on high w/ ssao and high res textures at 1920x1080 I get about 30-35 fps (which i feel is low). If I turn off SSAO I get about 60fps. Turn settings to very high and I get single digit framerates and black patches everywhere, someone better fix this soon.

beta patch wtf? And why doesn't the patch address the abysmal DX11 performance for nvidia cards? I guess we have to wait for updated drivers.

5562d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

unfortunately I have a Nvidia card, we need updated drivers to fix the situation

@above look at global avg FPS, PS3 is higher and even the LOT article states the PS3 FR is higher but at the cost of screen tearing...

Wow MLAA implemented by Bioware, impressive. If I didn't get this for PC already (don't get me started on the DX 11 issues) I wouldve gotten it for PS3

oh wow, this could be interesting...

Fallout 3 and AC2 are great games, Super Paper Mario was as well. The rest I can understand, I played WAW demo, didnt like it, hated FC2, soooo boring and tedious.

probably because Nvidia cards are struggling so much with DA2 on DX11, i know first hand have a gtx 460 and getting single digit frames on very high settings.

im having issues with DX11 and Nvidia

i have i7930 and gtx 460 w 8gb of ram, on high settings i am getting about 60fps with SSAO off, high resolution textures on, 4x AA and 6x AF at 1920x1080 resolution with SSAO on its about 35fps, on very high settings my FR drops to 15-20 with no SSAO and single digits with SSAO on, totally unacceptable.
