This story is insane if true. Also NYC really? We just had this in Crysis 2...
They'll have a PC analysis up on Saturday, I'm interested in seeing that
I'm getting 35-40 fps on my i7930 and gtx 460 on extreme settings at 1920x1080
Nice, keep the great exclusives coming.
lol what a douche and all to all his supporters thanks for funding his trip out of the country. What he was doing was illegal but for some reason society seems to like you more when you're a criminal.
Hans Zimmer and CO. are amazing in this soundtrack. I believe he did the MW2 soundtrack as well which was amazing. My 3 favorite songs are the opening theme, insertion and NY- Aftermath. I would highly recommend anyone to get the soundtrack!
Have you played the game? There's only 3 settings, high very high and extreme. You pick one of those, screen resolution, full screen on and off and Vsync, THAT'S IT
Don't forget no customization of graphics in the video options
I'm running this on extreme settings at 1920x1080 on my i7 930 gtx 460 with an avg of 35-40fps. I couldn't max out crysis 1 with that framerate so I know it's either been dumbed down or better optimized and it sure as hell doesn't look better than crysis 1 or warhead.
Not for me, I knew this game had been consolized immediately.
Don't forget Bioware, all of their PC versions have multiple graphics options and in DA2 they released a high resolution texture patch, they obviously have not forgotten about their PC roots.
Excerpt from PC Gamer review:
"This game may look and play best on PC, but the cross-platform development has definitely had an impact. Specifically, it’s disappointing to see that Crysis 2 makes some absolutely baffling technical omissions. The graphics settings menu offers just four areas to adjust: resolution, v-sync, HUD bobbing, and one of three pre-defined quality settings. Why can’t I pick what level of anti-aliasing or shadow quality I want in PC gaming’s most ...

The graphics settings menu offers just four areas to adjust: resolution, v-sync, HUD bobbing, and one of three pre-defined quality settings. "The suit works a bit differently than it did in the original Crysis. For instance, you no longer activate power mode to jump to higher levels; you just hold down the jump button. Rather than activate speed mode, you sprint."
lol that was the best part of the first game, changing modes and having the voiceover go "Maximum armor", "Maximum speed", "Maximum Strength"
I'm still waiting for PC reviews, I have a feel...
again I wonder are they reviewing it for console or pc?
is anybody reviewing the PC version??
it's because most big budget games are no multi-platform so devs have to account for the lowest common denominator. So games on PC just have higher resolution and better textures but it's essentially the same game, very disappointing. DX11 also seems to be poorly implemented or non-existant so far.
can't wait to fire this up on my PC, sucks that there's no dx11 support initially.
the differences are so negligible that I would call both versions even. I'm getting the PC version :D
Have you guys tried using the Quen (I believe that's what it's called) spell. It basically absorbs damage without you losing health. It helped out a lot in that courtyard sequence.
