i don't think anybody said MGS4 alone would kill the 360... it was Halo 3 that was said to kill the PS3... if you look at what people post, they usually post a full list of ps3 EXCLUSIVES (meaning you can ONLY get it on the PS3, a PC port does NOT make a game EXCLUSIVE)
nobody said MGS4 will single handedly kill 360... it's the plethora of PS3 ONLY (note ONLY) that will do the job. one cannot defeat MANY
just for writing all of that out. everybody knows it's about the GAMES and no one can argue that Sony owns the MOST and ALMOST ALL of the big franchises of last-gen that will be moving to the PS3 EXCLUSIVELY. I wonder what all the last-gen fans will pick if when moving to this gen.
MS wasted $50M on something so insignificant as a couple levels it makes them look like noobs. They should have put that money into buying good developers for EXCLUSIVE 360 ONLY games (not PC as well) ...
360 will sell more games given their user base, but not by that much and it's absurd that a multiplatform game will hurt the PS3.
on selling consoles i have no clue but i do know both sides will sell a lot of consoles
early adopters revel in the bragging rights & show off dept.
don't be surprised if GTA4 for PS3 has custom soundtracks... they've already been putting them in on games (PSN) so we all know it's possible

i was never a big fan of GTA.. i've only played SA and i didn't like it at all.. i think i like this one because of the added action in it and it looks far more story driven and i'm very into story driven games. i hope this won't disappoint me, but the duffle bag is something i could really use in real life. (no, not committing crimes, lol)
oh my how the world has changed... i just see this getting worse not better... the interweb has it's up and downs so we take the good with the bad i guess.

there really isn't negative news to post about BD. and Toshiba is doing this to themselves
it's a little too late i think. but it could help for future piracy. i admit i only buy games if the devs are respectable. i don't buy used games and i do have a couple roms for my daughters ds. but i do support the devs that make great games.

i don't know how big these companies are in the U.S. are they a very big franchise?
has too much bad press for people to buy it even at bargain basement prices. word of mouth out there is that it's a dead format. it's in the media and news and it's all negative for the hd-dvd camp.
