this has more to do with Toshiba than Microsoft. MS only provided the codec... even though they back them, they don't have much stake in it.
i want my Heroes Seasons on Blu, yesterday! Toshiba is too stubborn to know when to quit. it's OVER! every week another company is driving in a nail into HD-DVD's coffin.

i won't say i've NEVER pirated i think almost everyone has in some way or another, but i always buy my games to support the developers. crappy ports or devs is another story though ;)
i think it's interesting but Apple will need to work & market very very hard and try to sway some great devs and franchises or else it will fail. and i agree, it will be expensive.

that's what i don't get about people crying about in-game soundtracks... sure, some games are good to blast your favorite band, but EPIC games need the composition of professional conductors. i prefer most game soundtracks over my favorite music that doesn't fit into the game or its story.
sound is VERY important for any type of entertainment, whether it be tv, film, music or video games. it's VERY important.

i think blu-player manufacturers will add ethernet for future firmware. i mean, HDTV's even have a USB slot to update firmware
