These people need somebody to kill. The 3DS, then the Vita, now the Wii U.
PS4 has 50% more GPU compute units than X1,
X1 has 33% less of them than PS4.
50% more shader units.
and will look like GT6 on PS3.
it will be a good game, mark my word! :)
The game looks promising.
look at my comment below :)
they decided to repair their failures first: fix FF13 and FF14 by redoing FF14 and releasing LR:FF13 (I expect both to turn up well).
after that and with a new CEO, they are free to start pleasing their fans.
I think S-E is doing a good job of saving their reputation and Final Fantasy from the failure that was FF13 and FF14.
I predict that LR:FF13 will be a competent and immersive JRPG (when you forget about where the protagonist comes from) that will partially make up for the previous games and leave a good impression for the future.
I also believe S-E will successfully relaunch FF14 which will become a decent MMO.
After that there's only goo...
Don't forget R&C: Quest for Booty
Microsoft might have paid-off the whole industry.
$1bn means they've bought almost all lesser profile games from publishers and developers :/
Anyone else getting the impression that next-gen is shaping up to be a wet fart instead of a megaton launch?
1. GTA5, GT6, Beyond:TS, FF13:LR, MGS:GZs, on PS3 for Holiday season
2. most "next-gen" games are actually PS360 ports (AC, W_D, CoD, BF4, ...)
3. the TV, TV, TV, TV, TV for Microsoft
4. the DRM digital only games, end of gaming as we know it
is 99% not even in production, and every company needs to get paid for their support of the game after launch. Sony is not charging for Live, and devs have to make DLC if they want to make money on regular online players.
you're a blinded with hatred.
any developer wants to support and add to their game after release - ESPECIALLY if it has multiplayer.
but they can't be doing it for free right? companies have to get paid for their services, it only works that way. they are committing themselves to make 3 rounds of DLC for the game - whether or not a lot of people buy the season pass. so in fact the risk is on them.
they haven't begun working on any of the DLC yet?
The game has already been delayed - I highly doubt they have content to withhold - they've probably been working around the clock to meet the extended deadline.
The the DLC "season" is a great way for gamers ($) and developers to support their games after launch - especially those with multiplayer - new maps and modes are great for people that play the game regularly - SP content is also cool if you liked the original campaign.
what's the problem wit...
yea, they are the the ones currently being trashed -
too early IMO - cause Nintendo can make a comeback any moment (holidays) and they are going to have featured Microsoft is now riding on (TWii - TV and VoD integration)
this is a crazy situation - is Sony's supposed to single handedly decide the fate of the gaming industry (and GameStop) between now and E3 ?!?!?!
that should've been an open topic discussed by an industry panel of devs, publishers, console makers, retailers and GAMERS (via internet)
it's a shame indeed. but i have a feeling this FF is Finally going to be a good game, might even have "something" more to it.
Or maybe it's Microsoft that bribed them to abandon and black-mouth Sony...
