The funny thing is, at the distances most people sit from either monitor or tv, they will be hard pressed to tell the difference between 4k, 8k, or 1440. Framerate, on the other hand, is appreciable from any distance, and makes far more difference in the enjoyment of the gaming experience. 1440p@144hz > 4k@60hz.

The guy is upset because he didn't have the foresight to ask/demand a percentage of royalties on the back end. Boo hoo. The guy had no faith in the developer, and didn't think gaming was a big deal at all, so.........you get what you got. Deal with it. You signed the contract. You weren't duped.
