I think a large part of the reason for the delay is them trying to make the hacking parts of the gameplay unique and less repetitive. More variety in the way you approach objectives is crucial to a game like this to avoid the problem of gamer fatigue where you perform the same action over and over again to satisfy various objectives. It is hard for them to make the case to be the system people prefer when they can't match price, the strength and quality Sony's first party developers, or even claim the tech spec superiority. I didn't understand why this splitting of Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain was necessary when I first heard about it, now after I read Kojima's comments I understand even less. But I clearly see it's a microtransaction before the the actual game is even available. What a crock of sh$t.
When games like Infamous Second Son, The Division, Destiny, Watch_Dogs, The Witcher 3, MGSV, Uncharted, Mass Effect, etc. etc. come out, I officially retire from life and society and I will sit in front of my entertainment center until the paramedics come to remove my body. Don't cry for me, I will have died doing what I love.
Disgusting. Sixty dollars is not enough? Some of these companies are trying to give us half the game for that price, hoping to squeeze more from us later. What a crock of sh#t. I refuse to participate. I vote with my wallet, and I will never support these tactics, period.
I really hope they deliver with The Division. It looks phenomenal, I only hope the gameplay and matchmaking matches the visuals. I'm a bit concerned with Watch_Dogs delay due to it being revealed and in somewhat playable form at E3 2012 and still not close to being ready.
I wonder how many of the titles Microsoft shows at the show will still be running on high end pc's. It really wouldn't surprise me if they continued that tactic pulling the wool over the eyes of the many sheep.
I want to see gameplay. Throw me a bone and at least offer me a trailer at the VGX show please.
What a shock...the company that raped your wallet with xbox live gold for the 360 is stepping up their rape game by exploiting rectums everywhere with microtransactions at every turn for next gen. I'm surprised the kinect doesn't ask for money to even turn the console on.
I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't come out and said they've sold 23 million bones by now....the truth or facts are not their speciality, subterfuge and straight up lies are their main currency and they spend it like it's going out of style.

It isn't a problem for you until something happens and it becomes a problem...such as the network going down or your data becoming corrupted. Or how about simply being able to trade it back when I'm finished with it toward the purchase of another game? I do that quite often, many times getting back 30 or 40 bucks depending how long I've kept the game. Can't do that with a digital copy, so that's money out the window and fewer games I can buy. Thank you Sony. Microsoft just gave me the first Gears of War for free with their horrible program. Really Microsoft? You need to follow Sony again, just as you did when you rolled back your drm features and offer some games that were released, you know, this decade!!!!! F U Microsoft!!!
I wish people would stop talking about this game. The developers have over promised and woefully under delivered with this title. It's time to put any talk of it away until they can show something tangible.
