Methinks he dost protest too much.
"Don't want Infamous"? You, sir, are a disgrace.
I agree. Both. And I would add I am hyped for every single one of the announced exclusives for the PS4. And I'm looking forward to E3 to be hyped about the unannounced titles for PS4.
Are we still doing this nonsense? To date, it has been no competition. We don't need monthly updates on it. When Microsoft begins to offer games that aren't a decade old and complete garbage compared to psplus, that's when articles should be written. Until then, we don't need news we already know.
I would like to see another entry for The Last of Us, but I would rather see that wait several years with them giving us Uncharted first, then delivering a new ip, preferably a space epic, then TLOU 2 much later in this gen. Give us a good chance to miss it and yearn to return to that apocalypse.
The best thing about Sony's phenomenal developers is their willingness to take chances and experiment with concepts in games, and Sony's willingness to not meddle and let them do what they do. It has produced the best games of the last generation, and undoubtedly will produce the best of the ps4 generation. Greatness awaits!
As I said, I hope it does make 2014. But not if that affects it's quality. If Ubisoft lets the Watch_Dogs situation effect this games development, we all lose. Better to get The Division right, that to get it rushed and disappoint everyone because it doesn't deliver on it's promise.
I'm waiting to see if this game approaches what I saw from The Division, which absolutely left my jaw agape...that will be it's benchmark as far as I'm concerned. I expect a great deal from Sony first party devs. I really have a hard time imagining what the next Uncharted or God of War will look like, but I'm hoping to get a clue from what they show for The Order:1886. This is going to be a very good year for the PS4. E3 may very well kill me.
You have a point, but as a single player first gamer myself, The Order:1886 not having multiplayer doesn't bother me at all. I'm far more interested in the fact that the developer has stated that The Order:1886 will have significant destruction from weapons in the environment and all of the particle effects they have mentioned. In addition, many of the best games of the last generation, and of all time, are single player only games. Games like Bioshock, MGS, Mass Effect, God of War...
I remain skeptical.
How does having no multiplayer matter that much to some people? Some of the best games of the last generation, and of all time, are single player only or predominantly single player experiences. I would rather see Ready at Dawn craft a brilliant single player experience, just as Bioshock, God of War, MGS, or Mass Effect did. They can branch out with the second installment in the franchise if they so choose and add multiplayer or co-op at that point, but they have to nail the single player ...
I think it will probably eclipse the 10 million mark because it's a cross generational title, and because it's going to be one of the first next gen blockbusters, it will sell well on ps4 and xbone, and probably sell well on ps3 and 360 as well.
Trophy unlocked....Legendary status achieved. Naughty Dog is on top of their game. Can't wait to see what Uncharted brings for PS4.
Wow, nice article that gives insight into this game and the developers take on it. Can't wait to see what E3 brings this year.
15 bucks? This game is a day one no brainer for me.
Sadly, I see this game slipping to 2015. It's just so beautiful, and so ambitious, I really hope it makes holiday 2014.
E3 may very well kill me altogether.
You don't mean anything.
WiiU master (flame) baiter.
You do realize that adding a bigger hard drive to the ps4 would have increased the price, yes? What is your problem anyway? Why are you waiting for Sony to solve a problem you could easily remedy by installing a larger drive yourself? Sony made it EXTREMELY easy for users to do. Stop whining.
