I mainly use the Movie setting for almost anything I listen to, and I think it isn't too over-the-top when you have it set to halfway or just over. It's only there to simulate the sound you'd feel through using speakers. It's definitely preference. There are a lot of people that feel the same as you do about it.

I owned my first Pulse Elite headsets for nearly a year and a half. I would constantly sleep on the couch with them on and sometimes with my glasses on. I think they're fairly sturdy, but definitely uncomfortable wearing them over glasses and not too bad without glasses but the annoyance is still there with how bulky the Pulse Elites are.

I got stuck during the demo. I was about two or so hours into it, but I couldn't find my way out of it. There were times when I thought I couldn't go forwards, but there was a way. I just had to stop at some point and don't want to look it up on youtube or anything. If the game does come to fruition like we think it will, then I will definitely get it. The frame-rate on the PS4 seems to be worse driving in traffic. I couldn't keep up and crashed a lot because of it. It's unfortunate. Better optimization could have been done on both consoles if they waited longer to release the remastered versions.

I just re-bought the Pulse Elite Edition for $110 two months ago. The last time they had one of these "whopping savings" articles, it ended up this way with it only being 100 (I expected 75 or 80). Check again in a month. It's not going back up to 150. Every now and then I check and it's never above 110.
