It seems that that DriveClub and Project CARS "competition" (on the PS4) can let us all know which genre the people prefer.
A simcade racing game or a simulation racing. It seems more likely that DriveClub will get more sales on the PS4, but pCARS has been given more time in the "limelight". Either way, I think it's obvious that DriveClub will get more sales even though pCARS will be more of the breakthrough racing game of this early generation. I hop...
I get what you mean, and even I expected GT6 to be MORE, but getting rid of the standards would be seen as a sad choice to many GT fans.
GT6 came up short in many areas, but it was surprising in others, just as GT5 was (to me.)
@HeWhoWalks
Exactly right about VGC. At some point, they even had GT5 selling one million less copies by the time PD released the numbers. It was 9 million, but VGC had it selling 8 million. As soon as PD updated their numbers, VGC promptly added the missing 1 million copies.
Except the only available item until recently was the X1 with the Kinect. There wasn't any other option. They set their own standard.
And the PS camera is 60 USD. Sooo even then it'll be cheaper.
The only microtransactions that I believe you're referring to is that people are able to spend their money to purchase in-game credits. Other than that, we haven't been sold anything. And people definitely aren't missing out on anything since we're not forced to buy those credits to get those cars.
I mean, GT6 even got a new track for free. There's been just about 15 new cars added for through updates (including 2 karts and not including the Vison GT cars)...
GT6? Really? It's always been crazy lengthy to buy the most expensive cars. And it really isn't as difficult to gain credits like it was for the previous games. Anyone who has even played GT4 will know how long it takes to get 20 million credits. Even when I wanted to get the most expensive cars, I chose to spend the credits for the cheaper cars. It was a whole hell of a lot quicker getting them in GT5 and GT6. Terrible example when MS does this for Forza and it's easier getting t...
Uncharted and TLOU were last generation and on the PS3. This gen, with the X1 and PS4, we won't see the kinds of graphical leaps that translated over the course of last gen's development. It can be seen where things can improve, but we're in a time where visual (gameplay) graphics on PC's have been reaching that limit of technical possibilities.
I don't agree with the sentiment that X1/PS4 are PC's from 2010 or whatever. On the contrary of what you may...
All we need is cheaper memory sticks. I don't want to have to wait as long as it was for the PS2 to buy those STICKS. Four to eight GB's isn't enough for a punt, even.
Unless we are all going to only listen to music and podcasts on the PS TV.
OLED!!!
THAT isn't enuff said, but holy hell... that's gooood to hear.
Didn't read the article for the sake of possible flamebait material, so I'll dip my poo into the pool.
It'll be impossible to make it look than the trailer.
If "they're" talking about the final code/game/release, then I buy it. But "game(play)"-wise, it isn't possible unless they made the trailer look worse than it does now (gameplay-wise) and the "trailer" might not include all the gameplay video we need to ...
Give us the "whole game", you bastard. Why tease it when it's been so long since we've first learned about the "basics" of what the game is or seems to be.
I said it before on this account or the last one, that realistic graphics (on consoles) will "realistically" come in the next 10 to 15 years. I only said it because my brother referred me to an article with one of the "top guys" saying that. It was over 4 years ago when I read that. So, we'll see. Ten years from now, realistic graphics (on consoles) won't be such an issue.
And hey come on, we're still waiting to see who the 2024 olympics holders ...
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's good to hear that "you people" have something like gaming. And by "you people", I mean Europeans.
:P
They added Canada to the list today.
he he heeee YEAAHHH. Me too.
Horny Gamers rejoice! Hooray!
*shaking my head and wagging my finger*
Mm, both?
I've played FM5 and it looks great. But in comparison to GT6 and what it features, I would not want to buy FM5. Dan Greenawalt even said that features such as rally and snow racing or weather effects and time change aren't their priorities. The tuning side to FM5 is greater than GT's, yet there are still GREAT inconsistencies in FM's physics when upgrading the power of cars, which is similar to what faults GT6 has with the PS3, a 5-6 year OLDER PLATF...
Hmm, I didn't know the PS3 and PS4 were structured the same way.
