What do you mean 1/4 second delay? By most standards - which was mentioned above - it isn't acceptable. Are you approximating while have lower standards, or take gaming as a hobby, less seriously than others who would deem a delay of that margin acceptable?
Personally, I couldn't deal with that. The downgrade in video quality to the inability to use peripherals (steering wheels, in my case) is enough to turn me off from subscribing at this point, but I do this it'...

Interesting. I'll keep what you've said in mind. I don't always nor TOTALLY go by what reviewers and critics say (the reviews should all be considered if they're not ridiculous) and the reviewers who don't particularly like the genre this game is apart of seem to be more inclined to chastise it in certain ways which usually pertain to the usual game, unless the reader already doesn't go for these "cinematic" type games.
There's just a gre...

It was out of convenience that I brought it up. FM and GT are the most similar in terms of racing games. You wouldn't compare Dirt to FM since Dirt is mostly about rally racing with gymkhana on the side. You wouldn't compare GT to Dirt either since again, Dirt is mainly about rally racing. GT is mainly about circuit racing, the same with FM. Why not bring FM into the conversation since it's a valiant effort in a driving (mainly racing) simulation game....
Edit - Fyi, I'm not an all-out PS fanboy, but I prefer its exclusives. I was mainly playing 360 at one point for about two years with Halo 2 and 3. I got so close to level 45, but I'm not that good. My oldest brother would be a General easily and my other brother would get to 48-49 and struggle to be a General. I gave FM a chance, but it's not my cup of tea. I'd have to pay up for a compatible steering wheel when I mainly only play GT for racing and I have the pCARS beta but d...
Yea. I binged the hell out of GT4. I only agree that GT6 is almost as good, because the types of tracks in GT4, including the introduction of the Nordschleife (Nurburgring) and Circuit de la Sartha (Le Mans). There are so many great tracks from GT3 and GT4. We may never see most of them in future GT's. :(

I was civil.

I hear where you're coming from. You have to realize though. For a game to have over 200k people still playing it after the first year and only counting players participating in the weekly online races is a major deal. Like with every other video game, the install base will drop off drastically to the user base after even the first few months and that's b...
+200k GT players doing the online weekly events (aka Seasonal Events, Time Trials or Drift Trials) appear to show you that YOU don't speak for the majority of us. Fifteen months and counting, those numbers are holding up.
What's with the disagrees? You bought a season pass and saved more than twice the money, thus far, because of it. How is that not awesome? Evo Studios isn't milking the DLC, considering the free cars and handful of tracks they've released for free.
How many cars does the game have now? I can't find an updated list anywhere. Can anyone help me out?
Definitely. That's the right idea, imo.
Shuuuuut uuuuuup. "Never", really?
You're speaking about Avatar as if game development and filmmaking are on and the same. You're saying he relied on the visuals to sell the film... and? Boundaries need to broadened, Avatar was a catalyst for that. Movies typically have better acting or narrative to them. Games, for the most part, tell stories in much different ways and in some cases, in much greater depth than a movie TRILOGY can accomplish. Take into accou...
Probably the Game preset. Well, when I've listened to music on the Game preset, the bass would be much more pronounced than the Movie preset. Especially when you slightly adjust the Bass Impact slider using the Game preset, the rumble / bass is too great of a difference as to make the music sound distorted as opposed to the the Movie preset where it's smoother and increasing the Bass Impact is a lot more forgiving. You can't even go higher than halfway when using the Game preset w...
I'm definitely irritated about this and not being able to save personal files on the console. Read what Crazyglues said in his first comment. It's seems probable to be the case for the delay. It's more than a delay. It's just bs.
AND this is coming from somebody that doesn't necessarily want the suspend/resume feature as much as I want the PS4 to play our stored music, videos and even pictures (which is what I would use the least). It's kind of, a bit ...
Very unfortunate, because you might be exactly right.
It's more than just frustrating that they announced such a feature more than a half year in advance of the release of the console, then to be here now wondering why they let it known they are developing any announced feature without the knowledge of how long it could take.
Let's pretend that even if they thought it would take a "measly" three months after the release, what would be the po...
hehehehe!
If only the F355 was in this game.
Forza has it... those bass-tarrds!
He used the Share Play feature with someone he didn't know. It's more simple than you think to avoid these repercussions.
If only we were all like you people. Still, GTA is amazing and I envy you.
Maybe someday...
Edit -
I'm addicted and can't grow tired of using a steering wheel in GT games. So I've got that going for me haha. Too bad I can't use a wheel in GTA IV properly. I loved driving cars in that game to no end. Something about them and the visuals that made it so.
