Too high?

You're just excusing yourself for not trying (at all).

He'd rather be a bum (ROCKY!) and play video games than accept a job offer. Come on, brotini. It's simple.

It's a fun little ad / commercial.

The Order is a different style of gameplay and in a different genre all its own. Well, games like Heavy Rain and Beyond could be in the same genre, but The Order still is different in terms of the gameplay style. Comparing these releases to Ryse and especially Titanfall, it makes me wonder how much thought you, Jalva, put into your comment.

I forgot to add, in order to make myself clear, these five games mentioned are put under a different level of scrutiny based on what they...

Good point. Same thing can be said of Quantic Dream kind of. Those are two developers that are really out there though. Kinda like Media Molecule. They've built themselves a unique video game category. Quantic Dream and Team ICO are stupidly amazing reflections of one another, but are completely niche. Those two developers created something all in their own world... if that makes sense. I think it does. When it's all said and done, there aren't too many developers that release one...

"Core" sounds good. Agreed. It's true though. A hardcore gamer to me is someone who knows PC gaming or has a clan in Halo or just does crazy good playing any video game because they're totally dedicated and you know. A core gamer sounds more like the typical person that buys video games and plays; it should be as simple as that, you're right.

First of all, at 1:39 in the "DC vs FH2" comparison, it sounded like the Ferrari crapped itself when that first car passed by. Then, I heard the next two cars pass and I have to say that I would really be annoyed by the decision to have it sound so abrupt or unnatural. Any way to turn that sound down without forcing most other sound effects to go along with it? Are there environment, tire, engine, bump/crash sound settings? Is there a wide range of sound settings in FH2, and is it ...

Yup. Particle density. I'll keep it on low.

@ShottyGibs

He wasn't comparing gameplay or physics. And Driveclub's still a racer with it's arcade-like physics. There's something really stale about pCARS. I have the beta and there's something off about it. The color palette, it's just off.

The games? I'd say the developers make the "real" difference.

It would be for Madden. We're not in the '90s anymore.

Really?

It came out in November. 60% off for LBP3? Good lord, I have to get that NOW (edit - I got LBP1 the first week it came out). I always wait for games to drop in price so that I can get them to be as cheap as long as I can wait (PS3 backlog!), so for a PS4 game that came out not a full four months ago to be under $30.... I'm happy.

Ah, no need to go there. I was with you til the second part after "since".

I'll explain.

We were all jobless at one point in time. No need to cheap shot younger gamers.

Here's a comprehensive look at what it looks like. The smoke, not so good at all, among some other things, visually. Not everyone can afford to set the graphical settings to the higher end of the spectrum.

Oh, and that's not my video. I barely just re-installed pCARS yesterday after about a year to 18 months of not trying it out. Th...

Nah. the physics model is pretty good. the movement dynamics feel realistic, so whoever's showcasing the 4WD drifting / powersliding in this video is doing a damn good job in maintaining fluid control.

@KiwiViper85

It can, but even on wet tracks, that kind of early shifting isn't normal on the straights. If it were a wet track during a caution before a safety car is needed out on track, there still wouldn't be such early shifting. Only around corners, but especially on the exit, there would be a need to keep a higher gear / lower rpm's on a wet track.

I reviewed the video and thought it was only slightly conservative driving in GT6, but you can...

They're shortshifting the hell out of that thing. Just as you hear the revs start to really build up, they change up a gear. How can you not hear that?

Starving people suffer.

So I guess computers hang from their phallus whilst being waterboarded until the hackers want to go back to playing GTA5 (online).

I was going to say the same thing, but yewles, you reminded me of a scene from Beerfest, but it still holds true to this.

How in the hell are they allowed to restrict homosexuals from ANYTHING? I can go on about this, but I shouldn't be one to speak for people who are directly affected by this sort of BS. Homophobia, what a bullshit idea.
