Yea, Phil's more than a solid guy. I'm not an Xbox guy, but I think he's doing a good, great, damn good job with what he was given. The X1 has great potential, although Phil has a shitload of damage control to do.
Crackdown is one of those games that makes me want an X1. It's a gamer's game imo. The first time I played it (edit - the first Crackdown, of course) at my cousin's, I really enjoyed it.
Yea, this should be interesting. I'm glad this is coming to consoles. I'm still using a G27 and pCARS on the PC and don't know when I can upgrade my wheel. I'm not going to skimp on it, that's why. Maybe even a rig..?
Yea, I agree with you. First of all, I couldn't even think about playing The Last Of Us with BGM. Racing and GTA (GTA IV on the 360 is when I first (and maybe last) heard my personal music while playing a game (aside from GT games and maybe pCARS?). I feel like it would be sacrilegious to play personal music during a story driven game. TLOUs, hellllllll no.
Gran Turismo... I'm not a serious racer, soooo hell yeah! Since GT5, for sure, I like that I can play my own mus...
That's what we have to do for the PS4, but damn, was I happy when the PS4 first allowed BGM; it was added only a short while after getting GTA V too :D. They said the music player is just a default and they're going to structure it to allow files to be saved onto the hard drive.

I went back to re-read what he said and clicked Disagree for bringing up a game that did the bare minimum in terms of content and didn't sacrifice anything (as a racing sim).

Forza's a great series, but I HATE Turn 10.
I do have gripes with FM, but overall, it's a really good racing series IMO. If I had a universal rig for X1, PC, PS3/4, I wouldn't hesitate getting FM5 for the physics/tuning. I don't really care for the livery editor even though I frickin' loved NFSU.
Same here (about TLOU). I even waited until the price dropped for that. Somehow I got it for 15 USD on the PS Store. I didn't get it for the PS3 nor did I get GOW 3, though I wanted to.

Preach! I think it's the same for the Vita. They explained it, but I wouldn't know the technical reasons behind it. It's not even worth a search. All I can tell you is that it isn't totally the fault of the devices.
