I love articles about numbers. Some of the guys here provide more entertainment than any reality series on tv ever could. Keep up the good work guys.

once again for the people who want "proof" why do you care if you don't support the brand?

LOL; so many comments from people who don't even support the brand. Why do you guys care? What does it mean to you to?

classic valve. you can't help but to like this.

for those questioning the dreamcast xbl deal; looks like MSFT made some kind of deal before sony could or MSFT wrote a bigger check than sony was willing to write. supposedly proof is here http://kotaku.com/5445868/s...

Wait. Didn't the gba and ds co-exists for a while? I can't remember. I any event I'm sure nintendo didn't pour a whole lot of money into the XL seeing as how it's still a Dsi with some extra content here and there.

Pachter says stuff he think sounds good and he always words his responses carefully such as "I think" "probably" "could happen" so it's easy for him to back track when he's proven wrong 73% of the time.

I don't agree with everything HHG says. The man has an opinion just like I have one; but you gotta admit some of the hate the man receives is a lil over the top to say the least. I don't watch dudes show, nor do I follow his articles in the same way I do BitBag, Gamertag Radio, or Talking About Games but I do respect the man for doing something for a industry he loves regardless of how right or wrong I feel about some of his information.

Now isn't this dependent upon whether or not Activision wins the lawsuit? That's what the guys over at giantbomb stated on the last podcast. So who knows how long before the employees get this money, and what exactly would Acti consider a victory?

both my kids have DS' 11 and 5.
then my wife has one 34
my stepson HAD a psp got rid of it. Why? the games didn't appeal to him. Know what he asked for for his bday? A DS or Ipod touch. Guess which one he's getting.

I'm no longer a halo player although reach may pull me back in but dang what does halo, gears, uncharted 2, and socom have in common?

they have longevity and give their fanbase their moneys worth. Can anyone honestly say the same about the COD franchise recently?

for some these lego games are lame; but for a father who wants to enjoy this hobby with his 5 year old son these LEGO games are a blessing.

if one thing apple has proven time and time again. they want maximum gains and minimum output. AMD cpu's are selling pretty well I assume I have one, and their GPU's have really hit a stride. their market cap now is a lil over 6 billion. I don't see apple spending any substantial money to acquire them.

this is old.

it's a small thank you to 360 gamers for the success of the first game. It's probably no more than 5 hours long if that.

Unless you had a 360 at launch and have since moved on to the ps3 platform why would anyone want this on the ps3? I'm curious to know the answer.

this is great news and it's pretty confirmed they've listened to the fans and won't be using the SFIV design. They'll stay true to the original marvel vs capcom 1 and 2 design updated so more like tatsunoko vs capcom in HD.

as dreamcast owner and all around sega fanboy this is bittersweet as I would have loved to play a new MvC game on a sega console but it's still sweet nonetheless :D

"hope it's not a cheap port"

it's not; a previous interview from the dev stated they were going to completely re work the game for the pc. I traded in my ps3 version to be able to put money on the pc version. So I do hope they are true to their word.

when touchdown rides thru the gate you can see a lot lag on the wii vid. 360/ps3 version will obviously destroy the wii version graphically. Unfortunately with the wii still printing money they Iwata and co. don't care. the wiiHD or whatever they gonna call it is sitting at nintendo headqtr's ready to go and they'll push it out once sales start to slow down for em sometime in 2020 is suppose.

the sk comparison may be appropriate here. these ninja theory guys started off as "Just add Monsters" and made kung fu chaos. Heavenly sword started off multiplat but the company funding the game went belly up and sony stepped in to fund the game. even if it's true they made 0 money could it be due to the fact that the company that first started funding the game put them in deeper financial straights than originally anticipated and that had an adverse effect on their (Ninja Theor...

probably because some of those "heavy" hitters are exclusives i.e MSFT or Sony funded or said game is released on all platforms. I highly doubt it's done to recoup any loses especially when most games are being pirated on the 360 even before the PC version.

more viable income? well seeing as how most console gamers don't mind coughing up money for DLC, themes, avatar clothes and other crap; that may be a valid point.

in other news the media is wrong....again.

when you eliminate console certification, marketing, production cost of disc, manual, cases, box art, etc,. how much money are dev's saving by releasing a game on DD.

Now some may say "but the pirates!" and that's true piracy is a concern; BUT if piracy was such a huge concern why hasn't a dev left the pc platform completely?

To make a long story short. We are not going anywhere guys. We are here to...
