sad to see J. Allard go but just like Ken leaving sony this is about the bigger picture that Balmer and in Sony's case Stringer see's. Will this restructure benefit MSFT like the restructure to Sony has benefited them? Only time will tell. However as a PC gamer I won't count MSFT out just yet. I mean I do primarily game on a platform that has been actively dying since 1987.

anybody who has purchased a ps3 and STILL refuses to at least try the games is simply being stubborn or loyal to one system for whatever reason if you ask me. It's not the best controller for shooters, but for fighters and some action adventure games the dualshock can't be beat.
I bought a 360 because it was the first HD console at launch and I liked the games.
I bought a ps3 because it had Bluray and I liked the games.
I have a gaming PC because I do work from home sometimes and I like pc games (Valve)

at this point I think it's safe to say no one here knows what is gonna be at E3 in regards to Natal. We heard one story and assumed Natal was a downgrade because they "removed" the chip. When in fact the cam had 2 processors and only 1 was removed so in essence it went from a dual chip to a single chip. I'm not to keen on either device but I'm very interested to see what they bring to the market.
Friend that first sentence was uncalled for frankly. Virtual-On was mech warriors before mech warriors...for me at least. Who gives a crap about it? the plethora of gamers over the age of 27 who remember this series be it in the arcades, on the pc, the saturn, dreamcast, or "GASP" the ps2.
It could happen. Time and time again sega has said it could happen, but shenmue as a whole has burned them financially not once but twice. If a 3rd entry comes Sony or MSFT would need to foot the bill. I'd like to see Sony foot the bill with the great job sega has done on the Yakuza series, BUT if MSFT was willing to blow millions on DLC they could very well blow millions on Shenmue III. I'm not holding my breath but I'm not giving up hope either.
Shenmue 2 is backwards compatible with the 360 by the way. But don't do this too me guys. If this is just to get hits to your site I'll be devastated. November will mark exactly 8 years since I've been ready to really "finish the fight"
no where near the same vein. Most pc gamers (me included) remember when MSFT tried to charge us for GFWL. Catalog is trash compared to Steam, Impulse, D2D, GOG. Hec it's not even comparable to battle.net

nice post friend. I don't play EA sports titles either and 2k did have the better strategy. My only issue with this guy is his argument is kinda one sided. IF he was really serious he should call for a boycott of EA, Ubisoft, and Lamestop. Since they all are trying to abuse the consumer.
how is this any different from buying a used game for 54.99? The guy doing the vid doesn't seem to care or notice that Lamestop is taking all that money that should be going back to the developer. I guess he doesn't remember when authentication codes were implemented with pc gaming when Lamestop started raping the PC community with their trade in business.
I'm always amazed at how deep the wells of hatred are for MSFT from some people here. Here's to hoping Jay lands a job with someone in the industry.
