THANK YOU ELVEN6 someone besides me remembers the dreameye. All this stuff motion control related really started on the dreamcast from a console perspective. The dreamcast at LEAST laid the foundation. that's why sega pushed out games like samba de amigo, house of the dead, etc,. on the wii cuz they had already done it before only difference being the dreamcast peripherals were wired.
good move for steam, good move for mac and in this case as it has been in the past once PC, MAC, and hopefully Linux users are unified on the gaming front we'll see msft and sony follow suit in some shape form or fashion.

first off I have no idea what you wrote. But I think I deciphered it enough to see that your saying it's a win/win for bungie and Acti... I agree as well ONLY if bungie read all the fineprint. got mine brand new; but I'd suspect a lot of the phats were bought used after the slim came out. Most of my buddies except 3 of us traded their phats in for the ps3 slim. I didn't do it for the ps3 and I won't do it for the 360. I'm pretty content with my hardware. No need to upgrade just to have the newest thing they all play the same games so to each his own.
first off the title is misleading he is not certain and he never say's he's certain. Granted it would be nice for my ps3 friends to experience the mass effect series but I don't think any of them are losing any sleep over it.

LOL; we won't know till the 'real' game comes out on PC this time next year. Since the 360 version is getting Alan Wake light; or as we like to call it in my clan, Alan Weak.
the original halo still has a pretty robust community on the PC. Didn't get halo 2 for the pc but I suspect it to be pretty strong as well. 11 new maps for multiplayer? how much? 15, 10, 5? No. They can be had for the extremely low price of 0 dollars!!!!

@sinncross; you do know legend of dragoon is a sega owned IP right? And chubear is right Demon Souls is a great title but the IP was funded by Sony; and as much I hate to say this these guys did make Ninja Blade....
yep. a used copy of odst will get you in the beta. now this isn't etched in stone or anything but I'm told the beta works similar to the crackdown halo 3 beta. access to the beta is in the game menu; but just for good measure make sure your box has a copy of the flyer indicating access to the beta that's what I did anyway. Picked up my copy not even 3 hours ago. traded some crap in and paid like 10 bucks for the game.
my buddies and I have really been out of the halo loop for a long time but the more I'm hearing about Reach is tempting me to go get a used copy of ODST so I can give this beta a hands on....it's starting to look and sound really good.
good to see Microsoft progressing nicely with their gaming endeavors. I wish all 3 console makers well.

gotta hand it to apple they are doing sumthing right. I currently have a hero since I like paying a lil over 100 bucks for 3 phones (thank you sprint and your bad customer service practically doing anything to keep customers) but if sprint ever gets a cdma iphone I'm all over it.
