Yes, I think that was part of the deal, SONY don't pay for exclusives but in return they gave Konami full control of their DLC.
Anyway, I think Konami would get more bucks via PSN anyway, many people don't have Credit Card so they are not getting this, if next month SONY rolls out PSN cards, those fellas won't be able to buy that DLC (and any future expansion packs) anyway due to for that a CC is a must.

GOTY is like the nobel prize, there are a lot of amazing science folks but only some of them are chosen for that prize due to they have done something relevant for humanity/sience...same here, it must be something relevant for VG history and LBP is the one appointed to become GOTY this year, people want it or not.
At this point the PSEye is supported to take pics so you can include images in the game but I assume you might be able to also use from your HD...maybe you might also be able to attach video to your levels...but in general, the answer is NO

Honestly I was looking forward to hear more news about "new" games, my plan is (was?) to get a X360 for Gears 2 as I was expecting more exclusive online MP games to hit on the X360 later this year/early 2009...and well, so far the one, besides Gears 2, looking great is Fallout 3 but that's multiplatform and SP...FFXIII has no impact on me, it's pre-ordered since a long time ago...wonder when it will be released?
IMO the new interface is much better but I hope Avatars ...

Actually the EU's conumer protection comission sent a letter to MSFT "asking" them to replace all the X360 in Europe due to obvious HW failures detected by them in the console...a couple of months after that MSFT announced the 3 years ext. warranty...magically, the EU pulled back its request....I guess that's the best deal MSFT could get.

If I still had my X360 I would of course be getting this, mostly because all those finishing moves will be a lot of fun when playing with friends... the first Gears is still the best looking game on the X360..why people want Gears 2 to look extremely better?...I'd understand that if there were already a bunch of games on the X360 that make GeoW look outdated but there aren't so...that it looks a little better is good enough IMHO.
