I've always said the name "video game" doesn't do our hobby justice! but to change the term now would be a mute point. also, IMO total immersion in a world thats not our own is the ultimate goal in this hobby. i.e. when smell and taste vision come...

Really! I bought my 60g when there were limited exclusives( there were some good multi-plats ) all in all the ps3 launched with enough "games" to justify buying it!

I still play MGS4 a few hrs. a month! WOW! what a epic conclusion ! For the simple fact that Kojima wrapped up all the stories tangents speaks volumes to the dedication he had making this "video electronic entertainment" masterpiece !
Very noticeable increase! I downloaded 4 demos last night- I used the " background download button" after I loaded up the 4 demos - then I went on N4G on the PS browser, Just 4 maybe 10 minutes . Went to see the progress, thinking i'd be about 3/4 done with the first one. And was really shocked to see all 4 games ready to load !
I've noticed a very significant pattern of driving sim fans on this site, and before i get to that, I have a friend who owns a worldwide tech distributing business( makes over 200k easy-just bought it less than 3 years ago), who also is a P.C. driving sim FOOL! He has a impressive gaming rig- latest video cards, liquid cooled, 22" tri-screens, racing chair w/advanced wheel etc.... any way, I've played the "gtr's" indy's and whatnot on his rig and, don't get me wrong, p.c. sims ...
Anyone notice that the menu sounds in-game sound very similar to the sounds in mgs4! Don't get me wrong, I don't have an issue with that at all! After all, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.. nes pas?
I see t.v. commercials, political ads, comedy shows, movies etc.. that really make me physically sick to my stomach to watch! Why? because I see through the B.S. they try to spin on their prospective audience in a way to get maximum believability! No I dont think i'm 100% clairvoyant in these matters, it's just with experience comes sales media product recognition understanding!

HHG show is da bomb! I LOVE it! who needs another generic nerdfest show about a hobby that the vast majority now inbibe in! keep giving us new news hiphop! even if its rumurs or speculation, I have the mentality to filter out what is pertanant to my entertainment! Unlike others in these forums! I wont watch or listen to another boring nerdfest gaming blog- rss- podcast- again! waste of time IMO!
