I'm not exaggerating at all when I say I'm really overwhelmed with the quality of games out,and soon to be released titles on the Playstation 3! I play my brothers 360 every week, and my friends dual hd screen- liquid cooled gaming rig w/racing seat and wheel for his pc driving sims, but nothing impresses me more than prologue, and soon to be gran turismo 5! <edit> btw- not my Lotus Elise in my avatar :( my buds!

But with the stellar new ip's and still free psn, plus the other huge gambles sony took, the ps3 does appear to be the choice of hardware to do "everything" on! My favorite part in the article- Since its launch in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had been a big, intimidating piece of equipment with a price tag to match.- makes me feel good to know I had the stones to jump in at launch after researching the ps3 and 360 to death! Still want a 360, just haven't got one yet.
I too bought the 60g at 600$ and was ridiculed to no end by my 6 co-workers that had 360's! Between then and now my wife, son and I have enjoyed the ps1, ps2, ps3 games- all summer when I had BBQ's, I would turn on the web browser on to pandora internet radio on my stereo, then after eating we'd play games till the blu-rays came out! Fun times fo' sho! After talking about metal gear 4, uncharted 1,2- both motorstorms-etc.. four co-workers now have both. They all wish they had the 60g! oops.. ...
1 milli sales is AWESOME! Of course it could be better, but we all know(incl. xbox only gamers) that ps games sell for an extended duration as opposed to xbox games. Will somone tell me how uncharted one is doing! esp. in the latest months? I could guess still selling! huh..?
Maybe it is true about consumers buying the ps3 just for the blu-ray factor. idk, packing a free demo of a wickedly awesome game into a widely bought movie. Think about it! You bought a ps3 when it was the cheapest way to buy a blu-ray player, or because of the bd-live accessibility, you only have watched movies on it, now you get a demo of GOD OF WAR 3! Once it loads up that awesomeness.. come on! sony knows you are gonna start buying all the games! Brilliant!

too bust filming vids of my kid in his Halloween costume on the PlayStation eye camera. also downloaded r&c demo to play later then get more trophies on uc2 for my first platinum trophy! wooot! too busy to worry bout mw2. might rent it. kz2 is my fps of choice till something better. nothing else compares at all!
I went on the g4 HD channel to see what they had 4 uncharted 2- NOTHING!
But they had like 5 0r 6 clips 4 odst, so I watched 2 or 3 of em. Not being a fanboy, just observing that the game looks very ps2 ish. music was boring, visuals looked almost 2d, gun and explosion sounds were very good. But if this was a ps3 exclusive i'd guess maybe sales would be around 250k lifetime! sorry, just really graphically last gen imho.
<edit> BTW, why no uc2 footage at all on g4 comcast ...
gt5 will be another stellar "showcase" title!
