this is n4g, better recognize.
Finally a game that shows the graphical prowess of the Switch!
Resolution is not even close to being good enough for Video scenarios. But apps like Tilt and Medium are a lot of fun on the PC.
This same guy said Mario was a lock for Launch day lol. I think he is just making stuff up.
Lol, so true. Reminds me of a guy that was telling me that Destiny sucks because the story isn't complicated. Then told me his favorite game was Super Mario. I asked him what the story in Super Mario was. Then he said story doesn't really matter in games :D. Gaming community is hilarious with all their double standards.
Complementary console that costs more than your primary console lol.
Meh, who would want to watch hd video on a 720 screen.
40 year old kids lol
I don't think you understand what Critical Success means.
Maybe for exclusives, but Switch won't get the heavy hitters like Destiny 2, Red Dead, Mass Effect etc which will be the biggest games of the year.
I was referring to the games that came out later on X1. Rocket League, Firewatch. Makes sense that they prioritized the market with the largest audience first. Realistically MS would need to pay 3rd parties to get that priority until they can offer a larger audience than the competition.
Just imagine how good Zelda could be on modern hardware!
Waiting for at least a year. Hopefully Nintendo will give up and release Zelda on PC so I don't have to buy that dated hardware.
I am not really interested in Beam. But the performance boost is interesting. I was really hoping for a feature like Steam Big Screen, where you could use your controller to navigate and open games, movies, music etc. Big Screen works fine for all my games, but their Video and Music integration is not good.
Last gen is X360, PS3
It was turned down by Sony, but yes the IP was one of the reasons. MS offered to fund it and let them keep the IP. Again, reason to applaud their 3rd party support. As for the game being marketable, it wasn't. MS tried hard to market it, but the style and context was hard to market. Wasn't a kids game, but looked kind of like a kids game. Very hard to market.
@TFJWM: Insomniac said that Sony turned them down in their offer and wanted to own the IP. End of...
Would be a cool VR experience, not sure that little screen is a very good way to play that type of game.
Sunset Overdrive was a game Sony turned down, Microsoft offered to fund the game despite it not being very marketable. Scalebound had been an idea Platinum had try to sell countless times but nobody wanted to fund it. MS decided to take a chance. Were these decisions misguided, yes. Sunset was a critical success but wasn't very marketable and Scalebound ended up a development nightmare. But MS should be applauded for taking chances. These were not Microsoft's visions, t...
It looks interesting. Will be surprised if it makes it out this year though.
It is a dated console, that can turn into a dated handheld.
