With 32GB of memory? That would be pretty hard.
I am sure Nintendo would love to see that too. But I can't see it happening. Too weak.
They are charging 60 dollars for mobile games... Wow
Professional Software dev for a few years and also been a hobbyist with game dev since I was first writing code. This will be the first Game I have ever released though. I am using Unity for my current project. I do have a lot of experience in Blender, Photoshop, Audacity, Audition, Bitwig etc. It is my dream to be a full time indie game developer. But I still have a full time corporate job right now so time is limited.
It is confirmed to use Tegra chip, mobile gpu. I mean it is a mobile device lol. Graphics look very dated. I feel sad for Zelda devs being held back
Do we know that Digital Foundry and Eurogamer are 100% right? No, but it seems that we know what the actual speeds will be. Even if they are using X2 it will be running more at an x1 level based on what has been examined
I did watch the presentation. As did all the people asking for the information. The Tegra X1 was initially rumored 7 months ago but everyone thought it was false. However, a month ago Nvidia confirmed a Tegra processer was being used and then just 3 weeks ago Digital Foundry and some other sites released info based on the specs developers were given confirming that it is the X1 chip being used. Or at least the same specs as a Tegra X1.
As ...
I was wrong about the dock, you are right. But the console controller is a separate 70 dollars. Of course you don't have to pay for it though if you want to use the tiny controller thing.
Kind of funny they call it a pro controller. It is just a normal controller.
It does, I was wrong.
You are right it does come with the dock. I don't think it comes with the console controller though. Doesn't list it. As for the battery life, they are saying a game like Zelda will get 3 hours.
Very confusing. From what I have read it will have a Tegra x1 chip. The display is 720p. The controller is 70 dollars. Battery life will be between 2 to 3 hours. So 370 dollars if you want to use it like a console "that has mobile graphics".
Edit: Appears it does come with a dock. You would only need to pay the 90 dollars if you have a second tv you wanted to connect it to.
Online sub, 90$ dock, 70$ controller. So basically we are looking at 500 dollars for a system with last gen graphics.
Edit: it does come with dock. So you can remove the 90. 370 is what it would cost if you want a normal controller.
True, my comment was a bit off topic. Just came here to talk about the conference and it was the only item I saw on my list. It was part of the conference though. I hope you enjoy it.
I am still not even sure what they intend the Switch to be. Is it replacing the Wii U? Graphics are really bad. I guess if they are strictly aiming for the handheld market it is interesting, but the battery life kills any chances of really using it for that. Weird product to be honest.
Ori is one of the greatest SP games ever made. They spent a lot of money to get Tomb Raider first. Sunset Overdrive was awesome and mostly a SP experience. Quantum Break wasn't the game we hoped but it was SP
Do we know if the WiiU version of Zelda will have better graphics? Guessing it will, hopefully.
Maybe we saw different conferences.
Zelda interest me very much. But those graphics.. ugh. Just imagine if they made it for a real system.
I supposed you could ask Apple, Android, Steam.
