#$& Fire hopping.
Neogaf Sony extremist fans (not the regular Sony fans, they're great people) trying to ruin careers over losing a platform exclusive.
If the FTC is talking about the Nintendo Switch, doesn't that mean it's a highly regarded item?
Negative Nintendo and Microsoft news gets higher degrees on N4G, like clockwork.
I guarantee anyone doubting the Switch's ability on having the same type third party games that'd you see on PS4 and Xbox 1, comes down to the amount of consoles the Switch can sell. The Switch API toolset is a lot more streamlined, and there was an article stating that developers found it similar to the PS4 in ease of developing games (some stated even easier in fact).
People were wrong about the Wii flopping, and right about the Wii U failing. Let's wait a li...
Superbowl ad, daily advertising, clearer message with a name for their product that doesn't confuse consumers. Recipe for success I'd say.
Regarding your comment, it all depends on how well replenishes Nintendo stock. Mario Kart 8 I believe is launching in April, so it might not be too farfetched of a thing to happen.
This is Nintendo you're talking about here. Since the 3DS is a success and third parties are actually supporting the device, Nintendo's developers can focus the majority of their time delving games on the Switch. It's obvious the Wii U underperformed, though Nintendo still had software sells that prove that their 1st/2nd party games are as relevant as ever.
It's about biases. Reviews are opinions, though how often do opinions influence reviews in the "fan/not of this company?"
Do people have selective memories?
There was a voice actor who lobbied against a review score with a petition to having it taken down from metacritic (It was the Uncharted 4 title for those of you wondering)!
There's also the Kickstarter on the E3 stage that would've caused people to laugh and boo at either company if Microsoft or Nintendo presenting S3 as a console exclusive, though I digress.
You're honestly gonna tell me ...
"PS3 fanboys are the worst" - Jim Sterling

Jim plays to his fanbase. He's a freelance journalist, and a lot of Sony supporters pay his bills (via patreon). His fight against Nintendo stems from their stupid copyright claims (which I believe Nintendo should abolish), so one way to hurt them is by reviews.

That's one of the major reasons why I have a problem with this specific title being optimised for emulation so rapidly. Breath of the Wild helped set off Switch to a successful launch (while selling a few Wii U console, alongside software), and now we have people paying emulation experts 20k a month to have it running perfectly on PC. This will take away sales from Nintendo, and there's no argument against this fact supporting it.
Let's see how many people ar...
"Here we go!" - Mario.
I take N4G as serious as I do Neogaf. They're both heavily Sony bias (with the latter being slightly more moderated), and hate anything positive that doesn't involve their platform of choice.
At this point, I frequent this site to read news and submit articles here and there.
It's more along the lines of the; "wait and see" approach. If the Switch sells well, it'll have western 3rd party support.
A complete reversal of the Wii U situation. Glad to see they're on a positive track.
I believe it comes down to user experience. Certain motion-controlled game me problems, while others just worked (for myself). Overall, I'd say Nintendo did a great job introducing (not creating) motion controls to the masses.
The Joy-con and Switch Pro controllers can be paired to pc and mac computers (though joy-cons can only be paired individually as player one and two). Switch pro controllers also have HD rumble (Haptic Feedback), so it'll be interesting how it'll work with steam games that offer haptic feedback support.
This should've been a bundled title, though it may be the case further down the line.
Nintendo can support the Switch 100%. All of Nintendo's developers on one platform? Get ready.
