I like Retro Studios Donkey Kong titles, though I want them to be more ambitious. I want Retro Studios to become a Monolith Soft by having free reign in making new open world IP's.
Monolith Soft and Retro Studios are the most important dev studios Nintendo currently have (in my opinion).
Nintendo exclusives.
I'm a little worried this happened so early in the Switch's life.
The Wii's success kept Nintendo in an exclusive bubble, which evoked their old-guard way of thinking regarding hardware (the Wii U was hard to develop games for early in its life, do to poor documentation and terrible API tools). The Switch is a lot more open, and developer friendly. With the newer generation of Nintendo workers taking over, it's beginning to propel the company forward in the right direction (though a few of their decisions are bizarre, like the smart phone to chat ap...
Who's the publisher again? It's Activision who has the final say (though this year's version of COD for the Switch looks less than likely).
True, though exciting. Having the ability to play all the AAA games released on PC then streamed to the Switch, only makes the device more appealing.
That's unfortunate.
I love Rouge Trooper, and I'm glad they're being it back. I also would like a Warriors (beat'em up classic) remake (which had the amazing tethered camera option like the current Lego games have now).
The Wii U really was a huge misstep for Nintendo. Calling it the "Wii 2" might have resulted in a better fate, though I digress l. Having Nintendo focus the majority of their software developers delving games for the Switch, has created an tsunami exclusive software for the newly launched platform. Just imagine getting to play: Mario Odyssey, Zelda - Breathe of the wild, Spatoon 2, Mario kart Deluxe, Fire Emblem Warriors, Arms, Mario Rabbids kingdom, and Xenoblade 2 (with a few othe...
I'm one of those Legendary "haven't played Skyrim yet, and will be buying it for the Switch," type of person. I'll be buying AAA ports and titles for the Switch as long as it's developed well.
The 3DS has a massive install base and it's making Nintendo bank. I have one and the hardware bothers me a little (I hate the numb), though the software has me hooked.
The 3DS absolutely needs a price drop (talking about the 3DS XL and the news 2DS XL), and Nintendo needs to introduce more "player's choice" software (cheaper price on games program).
Nintendo has the majority of their developers delving games for the Switch, whereas they had a split base for the Wii U and 3DS . Nintendo's encourage in making new IP'S, and even have put together a group of developers handling that task (they're called the Garage group). Arms (new IP) just launched, and it sold 100k plus in Japan alone.
Nintendo has to foster a good relationship with third parties, cause they're hitting their stride first party wise.
The Switch should have native voice chat. Nintendo's dropping the ball here.
Please add HD feedback and gyro aiming to the Switch version Beenox.

NOPE. It just doesn't make sense, is all.
Capcom is using their proprietary MT Framework engine for MHW (which works well on Nintendo hardware). Having no Switch version (which I'm sure the hardware can handle, though at less resolution) virtually makes it an elusive for the Japanese market.
The main issue is; Monster Hunter Generation xx should be out on Switch for the North American market before MHW. Maybe they don't want to encroach on the...
FOR YEARS I've read, watched (online videos), and heard; "the PS4 - the most powerful console on the planet!" Which is true, though Sony and their extremist base used it as an insult to injury. Now we have the Xbox1X launching this year, and I'm reading stories on marketing deals that prevent specific third party games from looking and playing better than the hardware with weaker specs. There was even a rumor about Sony paying Capcom to prevent the Switch from getting the l...
The Switch is a "2n1" device, Nvidia is powering its hardware, and the development tools for the Switch is extremely developer friendly (the latest Unity and Unreal engine versions come stock on Switch dev kits).
I believe the Division will be released on the Switch (which is a title I'm hoping for) and the New South Park game. Assassins Creed might also make the jump, alongside For Honour (my dark horse pick).
Like most people; I wish the Switch was a little more beefier in regards to its specs, though Nintendo partnering with Nvidia really helped solidify their new console's ease of development process.
