It just goes to show that launching a game on PS4 and PC alone, isn't always a guaranteed success (which you could say the same for any other gaming platforms plus PC combination). When you look at Nintendo in retrospect and compare them to what they are today, the times surely have changed. They're advertising a lot more on television, youtube and Twitch (which has helped brought in more awareness to their brand and products).And they've acknowledged that having exotic hardware with poor API tools and documentation will erode away developer support of their platforms.

I understand what all three gaming companies are doing, and all three have found their niche of success. Sure, there's a argument basis that can be had when you factor in PC gaming and its plethora of advantages over consoles (fee online, better game sales, upgraded hardware), though I say, "to each their own."

I'm find with the Amiibo thing, though games should always reward the player who 100%'s the title or beats it on the most difficult unlocked level. Nintendo should patch in a hard mode for the players as a reward, and let the more casual ones buy the Amiibo's.

That's the problem with owning your own island. In this case; Sony (who's leading in hardware console sales), will soon realize that their casual consumer base (the ones that make up the majority of their console sales) will look elsewhere if they (Sony) continue to isolate themselves.

I want more games to use the Switch's HD rumble feature. I hope Capcom uses it for zombie bites and such for Resident Evil 1&2.

People are celebrating Person 5's 1.8 million world-wide sales with an install base of close to 70 million PS4 units combined with nearly 90 million PS3 units (Persona 5's on both platforms).
