Played this on the PC and it was awesome. So much for that console players are not interested in PC exclusives none sense. There are tons of great PC games that the PS4 should add to it's library, for example Divine Divinity is a must.
My replaced my sticks with metal ones. Works and feels great now, and the best part of all, no lousy rubber coating to peel off.
Look at all the butt hurt fanboys. This game deserve to be smashed for its criminally lack of actual gameplay.
This engine is getting old fast.
Shit list by a shit site. If this is a how to list then counting backward doesn't help anyone.
This would be more readable if it was filtered by systems. I just want to the see the PS4 stuff.
Sounds like all The Order fanboys would really enjoy the hell outta Ryse. They're basically the same game except The Order has way more cut scenes.
This is why you're a console gamer. Because you know so little about your PC that you weren't aware of the ability to disable updates.
Because movies are smooth at 24 fps.
"To go to encounters and grab a different weapon from thirty minutes ago, just to play and see how it goes – well, we want to encourage that."
Are you serious? So replaying an encounter using a shotgun instead instead of a rifle now count as replayability. What an awesome feature. How come nobody thought of this before?
Putting the bumpers in the front is a horrible idea. They're unusable in some games from that configuration.
Length is the least of this game's concern. The constant stream of immersion breaking cut scenes and the staggering amount of QTE sequences is laughably bad. It's as if they decided to dedicate a game to every bad design decisions from Ryse.
It would've been nice if the player can guide the dialog or control the narrative like Heavy Rain or Tell Tale games. But this just a movie with TPS and QTE sequences.
I'm sorry but you don't need a nextgen console for this. You can tell the same story, with the same gameplay on the PS3 or even the PSP. Just change the uber graphics to something more stylized and the experience will be the same.
You can watch the entire play through on Youtube. Defending this as a "game" is ridiculous. This is an interactive movie.
I finished watching the entire playthrough on Youtube. The graphics are freaking amazing. But the constant and completely unnecessary cut scene transitions is utterly soul crushing. Even worst is the QTE sequences with one fight consisting of 5 minutes worth of none stop QTEs. Freaking ridiculous.
It's like I'm watching a movie then all a sudden a game break out. The perfect rental game. Watch, play, return. Wait for Bloodborne.
It'll just be another floped exclusive. Bloodborne won't disappoint though.
Not dying even once is more of an achievement than dying a billion times to beat a game, and he's playing online which is huge.
This game has Ryse all over it.
This is damning as hell. I don't expect the best third person shooter ever, but I demand solid combat mechanics. If they can't get that right, well, time to cancel that preorder. The warning signs are just too loud to ignore. You would have to be a fanboy to ignore them.
This game is nothing like Xcom. If you're excepting Xcom level of strategy prepare to be disappointed. Combat wise this is a distant third to Divine Divinity but the story is good.
