Too bad the patch can't invalid the save files of all the dupers who used yet another exploit for ill gotten gains. This would be fine with these clowns would stay in their own game in singleplayer but the sad truth is that most of them dupe so they can get an edge in coop or PVP.
This is why FROM need to take a serious step forward with this series and add an online only mode. Even if the dupe exploit is fixed the hackers can't be stopped until they keep the save fil...

This game is too much for the PS4 to handle. There are some really bad frame dips at critial moments which hampered the over all experience for me. This is a stark contrast to Dark Souls 2 on the PC which ran at a constant 60+ FPS. Granted there is a considerable generation gap in the graphics between Demon Souls 2 and Bloodborne so even the PC might struggle running this at 60 FPS.
I needed the guide on day 1. Now there's so much material out there that I doubt it'll be as usefull. Anyway the game's messaging system is all the guide I need. Between the hundreds of "ambush ahead" "treasure a head" "hidden path ahead" and "fear giant foe" messages I won't be needing anything else.
I had this happened while fighting machine gunner mini boss on top of the tower. While the health boost was nice I would've preferred a more subtle message system instead of this giant letter box of text which blocked the bottom of 1/4 of my screen.
The fact that this generation can't do 1080p 60 FPS is a huge disappointment. Bloodborne would have been so much better at 60 FPS.
I have not used share play and probably won't due to the exploit.
That PS4 Bundle is awesome.
They're selling an Early Access title as retail is basically what's happening here. Good thing the amount of DoA fans on the PC are virtually nill.
The biggest crime is that the grind is freaking boring as hell. In a game where itemization is the entire point, the weapons and gear and this game are all same except for named items. When the only difference between one purple auto rifle gun and another is the color, it gets old really fast.
The Borderlands Handsome Collection totally crushed this pathetic game in terms of itemization and content.
One week after release this game can be had from the PSN for 10% off. Shiiiit.

I just spent 4 hours playing this game none stop. What a thrill ride.
What a huge waste of money this game turned out to be. Buying it before Bloodborne was my 1st mistake. My 2nd mistake was being influenced by the fanboy hype and preordering digital. Now I can't even use it as a coaster.
The fact it's a low budget game is the problem. The days where the Resident Evil franchise can be considered as AAA are long gone. Right now Capcom is all about milking every penny that can be had from this franchise in any shape and form.
Finding the shortcut is just as important as beating the boss. Basically once you discovered that, it's only a matter of time and a few farming runs until you down the 1st Boss. Without that shortcut beating the Cleric Beast will be considerably harder since you will have to go through a shit ton of creeps and the two very difficult werewolves.
Well obviously it gets harder. DUH! I was talking in context of the article in regards for beginners. There isn't a wrong turn death trap at the start of the game where if you choose the wrong path, the game will crush you with mobs way above your levels. Furthermore if you die along the way your character isn't gimped everytime to punish you for dying.
Next to Lords of the Fallen, this is the easiest Souls game ever. No stats degrade from dying and an extremely linear progression that prevent you taking the wrong turn into one of those you shouldn't be here area that the Souls game are famous for.
Because it ruin the sense of fairplay in coops and most importantly, in PVP. The online community as a whole is tainted when there are so many dupers out there.
