Fanboy blog get cheered on while negative speculation get shouted down. Yup, this is N4G. I'm getting this game on preorder but calling this the next Uncharted is freaking stupid as hell. Uncharted took what Tomb Raider failed to do an carry the genre into the nextgen with a merger of 3rd person shooter mechanics and user friendly platforming.
The Order on the hand isn't doing anything new as a third person shooter. It's bringing nothing to table except for the g...
This game should just die off. The DLCs split the community and the game is devoid of any real depth. They failed spectacularly. What they should've done is gone full bore and either create an MMO or an online FPS. Instead they created an abomination that somehow merged the worst of the two genres without any of the strengths and features of a real MMOs.
Can't wait.
This is basically a third person version of Ryse. A linear adventure game designed to look as good as possible while masking the platform's weakness.
I'm pissed that this game still suffers from "console textures". Is there a reason why a linear game such as this still can not feature PC style super high res textures? In theory the nextgen consoles should have double the amount VRAM as the high end PC graphics cards so it shouldn't be a problem.
Dat thumb nail tho...
WTF is up with all these low scoring Dying Light reviews. It's as if they're written by idiots who hate the genre.
So they don't like money, who knew? It's not like the DOA franchise is on top of anyone's must have list.
Twitch streaming is huge on the PS4.
Too bad I can't get this for the PS4 because sound quality is superb.
So it's better because of mouse and keyboard. No shit.
So either people starving to death or a world without Sony branded video games. Yup, what we have here is a fanboy.
The Lara before the last is great.
I'm not liking where this series is going since your choices means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Once I figured that out, I got bored pretty quick.
Boring fetch quests describes every RPG and open world games out there. In a city infested with zombies where your character is the runnner I would imagine fetch questing being the staple. Plus this isn't The Last of Us. Story telling isn't the main focus. This game is about the mechanics of a first person zombie beat'em up, and it does that very, very well.
If you want 60 FPS. Get a PC. These consoles are too underpowered for 60 FPS. The fact that a game like Uncharted can run at a steady 30 FPS is an achievement all its own.
This game set a new benchmark in FPS platforming. From now on all FPS should have this system.
The 7/10 scores for this game is an outrage. The game is highly innovative and all of it's features are well implemented. From now I expect a climbing system similar to this in every 1st person game, and it's all done without exosuits or jetpacks.
You call this farming? Killing ONE mob per loading screen?
I need this thing now.
