Calling people suck doesn't help. The Soul games are hard but that's not why some people can't get into them. It's the huge ramp in difficulty at the early stages in the game that just simply turn potential fans away.
I think an option to have real coop would bring a lot of people into the genre. Right now a lot of noobs are quitting at the Cleric Beast because they have no idea that they can summon a coop partner to help.
That engine is freaking awesome because right now Lords of the Fallen on the PC is the best looking of the Souls genre games on the market. Easily besting DX11 Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne. It just too bad that the rest of the game doesn't measure up. There are too many unpolished issues still not dealt with.
But if they can fix the confusing level design, animations and cut scene issues this game could be a contender.
Adding gameplay is the truth. How about if they let me play the damn game?
The only people who doesn't understand what that line means are noobs and people who don't own the damn game.
Anyone referencing the petition for Bloodborne on the PC is an ignorant console fanboy period. There is a high chance that you have zero experience with From Software and Namco's record on the PC. If you know anything about Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 on the PC then you wouldn't be asking FROM and Namco for a port. Their record on the PC is absolutely shit, and because of that Bloodborne should stay on the console.
The loading screen doesn't bother me that much anymore. Right now my biggest beef is the frame rate. After playing Darksouls 2 at 2K res and 60+ FPS, Bloodborne feels sluggish by comparison.
Whatever. I'm DS2 coop on the PC right now, it's hella fun with 4 people carving a path of destruction to the boss.
Second Son was generic and boring. It doesn't even belong in the same league as Bloodborne.
WTF are you doing messing with the Crow when you're level 27? And by attacking her you're giving up an armor set, a rune, and maybe some emotes. It's not like her weapon and armor are end game worthy or anything, so unless you're in New Game+ I wouldn't aggro her.
The audio modes are nice but Sony should release a high tier model than the Gold. I need better sound quality and more robust features. For example my Logitech PC headsets will dynamically detect which game I'm playing and will load the corresponding audio settings for each game. Thats how it should be!
For the Gold I must manually switch from the Far Cry, to Second Sons, then back to Bloodborne. It's a pain in the ass to do manually. For example I spent 2 months gami...
It's more annoying that the rest mode isn't working correctly in Bloodborne. Before all this resume and suspend none sense, putting the console in rest mode doesn't screw up your connectivity, now it does.
This isn't a miracle cure all. The XB1 will need games designed with DX12 in mind to take advantage of this and I doubt any existing game will be patched to DX12 without a paid DLC.
This is the easiest Souls game to get into. You are no longer hollowed after death and the health regain mechanic is a god send for noobs. You can do it.
The other Soul games are simply too hard out of the gate, this one is just perfect for new players to enjoy which is a good thing. Elitist be damned. I hope the next Dark Souls game will be influenced by Bloodborne design choices so we can lure more people into this awesome genre.
This looks like a 4/01 joke to me, there is no point in racing a buggy on paved streets unless they also release new off road tracks to go along with it.
So how do you design a character with Filipino-ness? Unless she starts every fight by chowing down on a bowl of pancit it's hard to set her apart from the rest of the characters.
I still have a ton of Bloodborne left to play but there is something DS 2 can do that Bloodborne can not, and that's build diversity.
This game is without a doubt, the best exclusive on the PS4. It stands apart from another games out there, something that can not be said about the other PS4 exclusives which are just filler.
Pitiful really.
FROM absolutely sucks at making PC ports and the policies of their blood sucking publisher, Namco are even worst. With that in mind why would anyone want a Bloodborne PC port? Their track record with Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2 and Now DS2: Scholar speaks for itself. These guys should only stick to developing console games.
