7.1 is not a gimmick. I need these in "gaming" headsets or else I'll just use my amazing Audio Technica M50X.

Outside of the fanboy segment, it's pretty obvious why nobody cares about this. It's a streaming device that can't even play Netflix, Amazon or Hulu.

The game uses Eastern European style "realistic" armor. I like it. It's refreshing to see a fantasy RPG where everyone doesn't walk around in some sort of Dungeons and Dragons or Lords of the Rings suit of armor.
While the controls took some getting used to at first after I got used to them I immediately restarted and finished my playthrough in Death March. There's nothing clunky with the animations and at 60 FPS the game plays silky smooth.
I just finished Witcher 3, what an epic RPG and story telling master piece. I'm not sure what Fallout 4 is bringing, but this game sets the bar on world building and questing.
I will definitely get the expansions, even with 160 hours I can't get enough of this world.

This is all conjecture at this point until we get real games to pit one against another. And after trying the OR a couple of times I know enough to take demos with a grain a salt. They're all a bunch of bullshit that are meant to wow you for 15 minutes, nothing more. Basically being excited by a VR demo is like being excited by a game's CGI reveal.
Best way to throw up is to play VR games @ 30 FPS. I felt like this at E3 when the OR demo was experiencing some memory leak issue which caused it to be laggy at times. As a person with no prior history of nausea, I almost threw up on the spot. It ruined the day for me.
So if you're a lazy dev that release buggy games with shit performance, be prepare for a flood of lawsuits if you're releasing games on VR. As a gamer I wouldn't even recommend going VR unless your...
I'm sorry but there's a huge difference between PS VR in a booth and PS VR in the real world. In the booth you don't give a damn about the 9 feet cables and the box that's connected to the PS4 because all of that is managed for you by Sony personnel.
In the real world people are going to be sitting on their couch or beds. Some may even have the console hidden in the TV's cabinet. The usage scenario where a PS4 gamer would have to run up a 9-12 feet cable ...
Some games can have VR patched in. Cockpit games and sims is where VR really shine. FPS or TPS will need to be completely redesigned for the VR experience to work. For example when Crytek was asked if they plan to port Crysis 3 to the OR the developer promptly shot the idea down. His main concern isn't mechanics or gameplay, but rather liability. According to him, to avoid law suits from sick gamers they will need to frame lock Crysis 3 at 90 FPS!!
Fallout tactics was awesome. The fact that they're not using that as a launch pad for some sort of Xcom like Fallout spinoff is a miss opportunity.

I think Xbox cross play with PC is generally a lie. Gears of War is out on Xbox One, it's not out on PC, or by the time it's out on the PC there would be no Xbox One players left.
