Controllers get beat up period. I'm on my third DS4. The 1st was the original that came with the PS4. The stick pads pretty crumbled on me and hinges for the triggers broke. After that I got one of them Scuff DS 4 with paddles. After awhile even the Scuff's stick broke on me and this controller cost $200! What a waste of money.
I'm now on my third DS 4 and the right stick push down button would occasionally not register.

Dusting is not a "bug". The solution to this problem is to kick any players with high ping that will cause the other player to think he scored a hit but actually did not due to lag.

These issues only effect existing saves I think. I don't have any of problems with my new death march saves. The performance boost alone is well worth it. Death march vs a nest full Nekkers is much more doable now.
To retire Uncharted you need another franchise to replace it with. So unless Sony has a sure fire hit waiting in the wings, you can bet the bank on Uncharted 6 and 7.
There might be a period of parity as VR is still in it's infancy but that will quickly fade once PC based VRs begin to iterate. I have no idea how PSVR will be able to compete with the Rift 2 or 3.

This game is a huge hit and it's freaking amazing. But I'm pretty sure that sooner or later a major publisher will take note of the innovations being made in Ark and do an AAA version in this genre.
