"we also know that both were gimped because of 360 on gameplay.there's no denying that bluray would have held all the cut content and 360 would have had 6 dvds."
I think the PS3 version takes up around 38GB of blu-ray space, with all this extra content your talking about your looking at another disc on PS3, it seems to me the dual layer BR was close to being full for FFXIII...
I think the PS3 version takes up 38 GB
Flatscreen? you mean a widescreen right?
yup, it was only $30 (360) at FS, so I had a delema. pay full price for the PS3 version or get a deal and get the 360 version
Capcom needs to grow a pair and use Blu-ray to their advantage and not worry that MS is going to give them the cold shoulder. This applies for all developers as well, it will show MS that they need to ease up on it's ridiculous policies regarding the 360, things like disc royalties, HDDless support and mandatory paid DLC.
If these companies start doing this MS will see they need to change and something might happen, but that is wishful thinking, in the end it just means devs wont...
I would say ship both games but flesh out the PS3 version if its possible.
lol, self reply, but seriously it really does seem like a modern day dragon's lair. the branching storyline helps tho
this statement could also be used to describe every workers lack of knowledge about labor laws, in all forms of work. its sh*tty to hear about some peoples horror stories about work hours and overtime not being paid.
it's fun to a point. then you realize that the game needed another 6months of development before release. if you buy the retail version you get 30days free (CC info is still needed to activate). this might be a good distraction until swtor hits
most consumers have probably already bought HDTV's at this point so i don't see them jumping off the couch to upgrade yet again. also, i think most TV's are upgraded every 4-7 years. 3D gaming will be here at some point but not until the next console gen. why split the user base yet again? SD/HD/3DHD bahh, i say let the HD era continue a few more years before pushing another tech on us
lol, now this is how you get the old lady into video games. sorry, i had to
graphics look outstanding, lets just hope it all comes together with the right gameplay/controls and sound mechanics
its a sad day in the gaming world. no fanboy crap here, it's us vs the money grubbing asshats at capcom and MS that upsets me. I still don't understand the inability to utilize the space on a blu-ray is limited just because MS/capcom want's a uniform game for each system.
hey MS: ease up on disc royalties for multidisc games. hell, even use some of that xbl revenue to subsidize the cost. or have two discs, one for multiplayer, and one for singleplayer campagin.
hey c...
@7.3 go for a PC, it will be cheaper in the long run. and if your feeling up to it try building your own PC, its really quite simple. DIY guides are all over the web, they are all basically the same. you also gain more knowledge about the computer your going to be using over the next few years, not to mention all the extra crap Dell/gateway/acer puts on pre-built PC's.

i like the idea of the defibrillator, but sometimes im out of ammo and a teammate keeps reviving me. it can get annoying at times, we need an option of allowing revives, especially when defending due to infinite tickets. great video
you know what sucks about having both? too many fuc&ing games to play. i still don't have UC2, VC, ME2, borderL, AC2, bayo, BS2, DS
is this allowed on N4G? an unbiased, impartial look at the "other" system? i can't believe it.
back on topic: i wonder what SKU he picked up... no headset? i thought that was standard for every 360 including the arcade
it was probably never slated for release this year, a recent article stated Nomura had only just began full time production of Vs
have you not played any jrpgs before?
..and im sure you know the ins and outs of middleware like UE3 to make a statement like that? Your supposed to be a gamer, not an armchair developer
