looks like it. i got my free 30 days from the game and have no desire to return. the game basically needed another few months of beta testing not to mention lack of content.
in the end i just think cryptic isn't a big enough developer to fully realize a star trek mmo.
this is the second time sto has been discounted since release in early february. nothing like giving die hard fans the middle finger after a few months by giving a discount to new players. its a great w...
i just don't understand MS sometimes, they try to push DD but with limited and overpriced hdd's they're hampering their own attempt at dominating the market. less options/expensive add-ons only deter people from embracing DD as a legitimate medium.
i have no idea, i don't remember the community asking for anything like this. to me we already have an arcade medium in XBL itself. i hope it fails fast so MS realizes the mistake they made launching this garbage
"I can get 500 GB HDD's on New egg for that price."
why do so many people quote prices for hdds? do you think its hard to find a good deal on a hdd? want an award? i dont get it....
we all know we can upgrade our ps3 hdds for cheap, how does that help us 20gb owners who want to install a bunch of games? I also don't need that much storage on my ps3, i dont store music/movies/pics on my ps3. no option to do full installs, so a bigger hdd for ps3 isn't needed...
ugh, who cares. nobody asked for this service MS. i hope it dies a quick death so MS realizes it wasted money on this venture. What is next, charging us for every kb of downloaded data? oh wait they already do that.
This is why publishers are creating their own download services, like Cerberus Network, UbiStore, and the dice storefront. apart from deterring used games sales, the stores allow publishers to bypass mandatory "paid DLC", good work keep it up.
that wont change anything, just look at all the ps3fboys swarming to discredit Bleszinski and anything GeoW related. the developers are having fun with this but all you fanboys are taking it so seriously i wonder how insecure you really are. you fanboys make me embarrassed to own a ps3.
wow good job customs agent. one less terrorist in your country trying to blow up the next burger king

@1.9 "Square Enix making 3 JRPG's exclusively for the 360. @_@
The 360 has the smallest JRPG audience of any console or handheld.
It also has barely any presence in Japan... where JRPG's are most beloved.
Worst business decision this generation!"
SE received 360development kits before ps3kits, what was SE supposed to do? wait until sony sent out devkits for ps3? retarded. I guess to make you happy they should have just sat on their ass until ps3 dev ki...
the developer of crackdown1 is making APB

its funny, the national sport is rugby one of the most brutal and violent forms of sport. yet lawmakers get all up in arms over games? what is the movie scene like? do they prohibit all sorts of movies too?
@7.1 it's possible that this mobo design isn't finalized, it could be missing components. we wont know more until a case is revealed. it has two sata ports, one for the dvd and one for the hdd, i could see the new revision supporting old hdds, who knows the case itself might hold the adapter itself via sata cable that runs to the outer wall.
so, no shrunken die sizes? adding more components and heat in the form of a PSU inside the case? lol, sorry but that would be moving in the wrong direction.
odd, i applied a while ago when they put up the beta sign-up site(even got a newsletter). do they want us to register again?
@13.2
the thing is I need more space for my 360 than my ps3 because i would like to install a bunch of games. a larger hdd on my ps3 is pointless because i dont use it for media and games don't allow full installs. i hate MS' sh*tty tactics as much as the next guy but its a step in the right direction.
I think the real reason developers/publishers don't do more projects with modding support is that the testing phases and all subsequent modding means untested content. Resulting in possible crashes and glitches, it just means more time and resources wasted on a finished product that could be spent on an entirely new project. imo of course.
lol must be a slow day for 360news. ps3fanboys are trolling their own stories!
that burnout demonstration was a quick mock up of what the games might look and play like, you seem to think they spent a year on that mod and that's all they came up with. reserve judgment for the full retail showing. even though MS clearly stated natal was a casual endeavor, it wont stop haters from complaining natal wont suit their hardcore gaming expectations.
"but my own personal focus is to try to entertain people, even if they are not connected to the Internet. That is my first priority."
good stuff Mr. Miyamoto. i like that he admitted what his priorities are. and to get into the singleplayer/onlinemuiltiplaye r topic a bit it seems better to try and focus on just one aspect of a game instead of trying to cover all bases. one example is BFBC2 i have yet to touch the single player portion, now if developers took the risk a...
