if you don't use your ps3 as a media server there is no real point in getting a 500GB drive.
one of the reasons i stuck with the PC version of FFXI instead of the 360 counterpart was the ability to set my own resolution(ie.registry edit). that, and the overall better performance i got out of my PC.
because the game is still in alpha, plus i wouldn't expect the ps3beta to arrive at the same time as the PCbeta. that will most likely occur in one of the later beta phases.

sure but not all discs are the same size, and some have more than one disc.
the big deal is you ps3fanboys tried to shit all over alanwake and conviction for subHD visuals, now that this is getting some attention its all moot because you pick and choose what games we can criticize.
i picked up the 250g and have installed BFBC2, Forz3, gears2, tekken6 and tonnes of demos/xblarcade games and still have 195gigs left. its sweet, the thing doesn't sound life a jet taking off anymore. I have 34 more games to install, i wonder if ill have enough space....
